    How should I coordinate booking with flights arrival to Munich from Chicago and departure from Munich to Chicago?

    We do not arrange or coordinate flights, so you will need to book your international flights separately. When planning your travel, we recommend arriving in Munich the day before the tour starts to allow for any potential delays, and departing after the tour has officially ended.

    This tour is open to travellers aged 10 years and above. Please note that minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian throughout the trip. As this itinerary includes long walking days and sightseeing on foot, we recommend that all participants have a reasonable level of fitness to fully enjoy the experience.

    Optional excursions are not included in tour price and can be booked separately. Most can be arranged with tour leader during trip, except Munich Food & City Tour which requires pre-booking 20 days before departure. Optional excursions range from €50-€125 and can be paid in local cash or credit card.

  Quick questions on changing the room option and possible refund of the price difference: If I am going to reserve the spot as a solo traveler with a single room, as my travel partner is also figuring out things such as flight, visa, etc. But If I want later to pair with my own travel partner in a double room, can my booking get refunded with the price difference(single vs. double room)?

    Yes, it's absolutely possible to change from a single room to a twin-share room with your own travel partner later on, and we can refund the price difference for the single supplement as long as the change is made more than 60–90 days prior to departure. This gives us enough time to adjust the hotel arrangements accordingly. If you plan to go ahead and reserve your spot as a solo traveler now and opt for the single supplement upgrade for a private room, that's totally fine. Then, should your travel partner decide to join later, they'll need to make a separate booking. Once that booking is confirmed, just let us know and we'll help: Remove your single supplement upgrade, Pair you together in a twin-share room, Process the refund or adjust the pricing for the upgrade. Just make sure to send us both booking numbers when the time comes!

    My wife and I will be arriving a few days before the tour. This is the hotel where we will meet our tour leader for the orientation tour of Munich, correct?

    That is correct. At this point, that is contracted as the Meet Up Hotel and where the orientation will take place. However, it is still subject to change (Though changes are rare at this close to the departure) but the Final Confirmation is through the Tour Leader Announcement Email that is sent 10-15 Days before the tour starts.

  Could you list the number of days spent in each country please? By my count the trip spent 3 days in both Germany and Croatia. I read the rules saying if the trip spent equal amount of days in two countries, we should apply visa from the country at entry(Germany in this case). Can you confirm the number of days spent in each country please?

    Thanks. Just want to confirm. The Schengen Visa I get should be able to apply to all the countries on this tour, and I should be able to travel to all of them without needing additional visa, correct?

    Yes, I can confirm that a valid Schengen Visa will allow you to travel to all the countries included in your tour, provided they are within the Schengen Area. With a Schengen Visa, you may move freely between member countries without needing additional visas, as long as your visa is valid for the duration of your travel and includes multiple-entry permissions if required.

    I am likely to be a solo traveler joining the tour, how will you arrange hotel room for solo traveler like me? would I have a room to myself or do I have to stay in the same room with other travelers on the tour?

If you prefer to have your own space, you can choose to upgrade to a private room by adding a single supplement when you book – this option is subject to availability, so we recommend booking early if that's what you'd prefer.
