What are the departure and return times for the canoe trip?

We have space for one person on most of our 2026 departures. The depart Edmonton every Monday at 8am and return to Edmonton Friday evening between 7-8pm. The first trip of the summer starts on June15 and the lst one September 7th.

Is this okay for a younger daughter who will be 11 years old?

I will ask Tour K5 to confirm if this is permissible.

Overall excellent tour in early September. Weather cooperated throughout – almost 70 F (20 degrees C) during the day / about 50 degrees F ( 10 Celsius) at night, no rain. Surprisingly, no mosquitoes. Had a few days of moderate hiking (one hike was actually rated hard, but not strenuous), two days of long drives with short hikes, one and a half days of kayaking, a few opportunities for city sightseeing and shopping, and daily opportunities for refreshing (cold) swimming in the Pacific and stream-fed lakes. Good mix overall – not a hardcore hiking trip. Excellent attitude, cooking and driving by the guide (thanks, Tim!) – that also makes or breaks the trip. With inflation, expect to pay a bit more for the food kitty – we ended up with about $130 Canadian. The tents provided by the operator were very good. For trips marked as German/English, expect to have part of the group that does speak German quite a bit among themselves. We had half of the group from Germany/Austria, and one person did not speak English at all. The only gripe is that one of the German-speaking group members was smoking non-stop, and he could not control in which direction the wind blew. Not something that the trip operator also had control over.Show more
