Most of this hike follows the footpaths that locals use between villages. While the trail is challenging both in climate and terrain, you get to appreciate the day-to-day life of the local villagers without motor transport or horses. This was a mother-daughter trip with limited flexibility on travel dates. Even though our hike was at the end of the monsoon and we had light rain most days, we still had wonderful memories to take home. Our travel group was mostly young in their 20s and 30s. I was the tortoise in the group but my daughter stayed back with me. Our CEO was at the back of the group. So, as a consolation, we had our own teacher who taught us about the local plants, people, and culture.Show more

Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before September 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after September 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
