- Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Your guide from SEd Adventures Tours and Safari Club meets you on arrival and drives you to Outpost Lodge on Mount Meru's slope. The drive takes about an hour and gets you settled outside Arusha town for the night.

Landmarks Mount Meru - Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Head out from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park where open acacia woodlands and grass savannas spread out in front of you. You'll see large elephant herds and wildlife like fringe-eared oryx and lesser kudu throughout the day. By evening you're back at camp just outside the park for dinner.

Landmarks Tarangire National Park - Day 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Drive from Tarangire along the Great Rift Valley toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop at Olduvai Gorge museum to see the famous Zinj skull and learn about ancient human remains there. After a picnic lunch, enter Serengeti National Park and head toward Seronera River Valley, with a possible game drive later in the afternoon.

Serengeti National Park
Spend the full day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This is one of the world's greatest wildlife sanctuaries and you'll have chances to see roughly 4 million animals including the Big Five: rhino, leopard, buffalo, lion, and elephant.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Start early with a game drive in Serengeti, then move toward Ngorongoro via Simba Kopjes and Naabi Hill Gate. Stop at a Masai village before reaching the crater rim, where you'll have lunch overlooking the crater and take in the views from above.

Landmarks Simba Kopjes Naabi Hill Gate Ngorongoro Crater - Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After breakfast, check out the views from the crater rim, then head down into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day wildlife tour. The crater floor is home to all the Big Five and other diverse animals. In the afternoon, drive through rain forest to Karatu village for dinner and camping overnight.

Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Wake early and head into Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing in the northern section. The park is known for tree-climbing lions and lots of migratory birds, with different habitats packed into a relatively small area. You'll grab lunch and then drive back to Arusha town for the night.

Departure from Arusha
Have breakfast at your hotel, then check out and finish your tour. Optional extensions are available if you want to trek Mount Kilimanjaro or head to Zanzibar for a beach break.
