Frankfurt - Cologne - Dortmund
Start with a short cruise on the Rhine between Rüdesheim and Sankt Goar, taking in the valley views. Stop in Cochem for lunch, where you'll see a castle towering above the town. Later you'll reach Cologne to visit the Gothic Cathedral, then walk along the Rhine and through the city center before heading to your hotel in Dortmund.

End the day in Hanover with time to walk near the old town hall.

Stavanger - Bergen
Leave Stavanger and stop at the Swords in Rock monument honoring the Viking era. You'll arrive in Bergen around lunchtime, then take a cable car up Mount Fløyen for views over the town and Bergen fjord. Spend the rest of your time walking around this fjord capital.
