Frankfurt - Cologne - Dortmund

Later you'll reach Cologne to visit the Gothic Cathedral, then walk along the Rhine and through the city center before heading to your hotel in Dortmund.

You'll see Trendelburg's medieval castle and Rapunzel Tower, grab lunch in Höxter near Corvey Abbey (a 9th-century monastery), check out the ruins of Cinderella's Castle in Polle, and pass through Hamelin, known for the Pied Piper tale. End the day in Hanover with time to walk near the old town hall.

After breakfast, head to Hamburg to see its busy port around the lake. Stop for lunch, then travel to Flensburg, a charming seaside spot with a marina right on the Denmark border. From there, continue along the Jutland peninsula to reach Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city.

Aarhus - Kristiansand - Stavanger
Travel to Hirtshals and board a ferry for a three-hour crossing over the North Sea to Kristiansand, Norway. Follow the southern coastline, stopping in the small town of Flekkefjord before arriving in Stavanger, a port town sitting by the fjord.

- Day 6
Stavanger - Bergen

You'll arrive in Bergen around lunchtime, then take a cable car up Mount Fløyen for views over the town and Bergen fjord. Spend the rest of your time walking around this fjord capital.

Bergen - Sognefjord - Oslo

Stop at Tvindefossen Waterfall, then take a 90-minute cruise between Gudvangen and Aurland through snow-covered terrain and the Aurland Tunnel, the world's longest. Visit Borgund Stave Church, a well-preserved medieval wooden structure, before arriving in Oslo. You'll have free time to check out the port, main streets, and sculptures in Frogner Park.

Later, head toward Sweden through forests and lakes to Örebro, a historic town with a lake, castle, and charming old town. Take a walk before continuing to Stockholm, arriving in the evening.
