Itinerary
- Day 1
Las Vegas to Zion National Park
You'll start with a welcome meeting at 8 am in Las Vegas. If you're arriving early, there's time to ride the High Roller Observation Wheel or walk around The Strip before then. After the meeting wraps up, you'll head to Zion National Park and spend the afternoon exploring Zion Canyon with your leader. You'll take in views of Angel's Landing and the red cliffs, then break for a picnic lunch. By evening you'll settle into your glamping tent with a fire pit. Dinner at a local restaurant is optional if you want to join the group.

- Day 2
Bryce Canyon National Park
This morning you'll make a scenic drive through Utah's red rock country with stops at several lookout points before reaching Bryce Canyon National Park. Your leader will choose hiking trails for the morning, possibly along the canyon rim where you'll see the distinctive hoodoos, which are those tall sandstone spires rising from the natural amphitheatre. You'll have a picnic lunch out among the spires, then drive back to Zion for the night. There's a group dinner and you can unwind by the campfire under the stars.

- Day 3
Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend
You'll travel to Page and meet up with a local Navajo guide for a trip through Lower Antelope Canyon. This canyon is known for its wave-like structure and those distinctive light beams that shine down through the openings. After exploring there, you'll do a short hike to Horseshoe Bend and have a picnic lunch with views over the Colorado River. Later you'll head back to Zion for dinner at a local restaurant that your leader will recommend.

- Day 4
Snow Canyon State Park to Las Vegas
After breakfast you'll check out of your glamping tents and head to Snow Canyon State Park for some easy hiking among towering cliffs and red rocks. This park was used as a filming location for classic movies like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and High School Musical 2. You'll have a picnic lunch with your group, then drive back to Las Vegas. Your evening is open to explore the city, walk past the Bellagio Fountain show, visit shops, catch a stage show, check out the Sphere, or do some people watching along The Strip.

Las Vegas to Grand Canyon National Park
You'll have a relaxed morning, then at 11 am join a welcome meeting to meet new travellers joining the trip. After that you'll depart toward Grand Canyon National Park, driving along Route 66 and stopping in quirky Seligman on the way. You'll arrive in time to watch the sunset on the rim as the shifting light paints the cliffs in shades of red, orange and gold. Dinner is optional if you want to get to know your fellow travellers.

- Day 6
Grand Canyon National Park
A Grand Canyon Conservancy Field Institute instructor will lead you on a guided walking tour along the South Rim. You'll explore the Grand Canyon's Historic Village while your guide shares stories about the canyon's geology, fossils, wildlife, history and the tribal communities who have lived there. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. You can rent a bike to see more of the Rim Trail, join ranger-led programs, or just relax. Make sure to catch another sunset before the day ends.

- Day 7
Grand Canyon to Monument Valley
You'll get up early to catch the sunrise before leaving the Grand Canyon. After departing via the eastern entrance, you'll stop at the Desert View Watchtower, then continue to Cameron. You'll visit the Navajo trading post and have lunch there. Later at Monument Valley tribal park, you'll meet a Navajo guide for a sunset Jeep tour through the valley, exploring backcountry, natural and historical landmarks, rock arches, bridges and petroglyph rock art. You'll have Navajo tacos for dinner, then gather around the campfire for Native American cultural performances with dancing, flute playing, drumming, chanting and storytelling.

- Day 8
Monument Valley to Canyon de Chelly
You'll leave Monument Valley this morning and take a scenic drive to Canyon de Chelly National Monument. As you travel, red rock formations and high desert terrain will come into view. At Canyon de Chelly you'll explore the scenic South Rim Drive with stops at viewpoints like Spider Rock Overlook and Junction. In the afternoon, you'll meet your Navajo guide for a canyon tour where they'll share traditional stories, point out ancient Ancestral Puebloan ruins including the famous White House Ruins, and explain contemporary Navajo life. Dinner will be at your Navajo-owned lodge.

Canyon de Chelly to Durango
You'll pass through small communities in the Four Corners region and watch the landscape change as you gain elevation from desert mesas to pine-covered hills. You'll travel from the red rock country of the Navajo Nation into the alpine foothills of the San Juan Mountains toward Durango, Colorado. When you arrive, your leader will give you an orientation of Durango's historic downtown on Main Avenue, which has Old West character with Victorian-era architecture, locally owned restaurants, craft breweries and galleries. Your evening is free to explore and choose from many great restaurants for dinner.

Mesa Verde National Park
You'll depart early for Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 5,000 archaeological sites spanning 700 years of Ancestral Puebloan civilization. You'll drive the Mesa Top Loop Road and stop at the Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum to learn about the evolution from early pit house communities to sophisticated pueblo structures. A ranger will lead you on a tour of Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling in North America with 150 rooms and 23 ceremonial chambers built into a natural sandstone alcove. Your ranger will explain the architectural ingenuity, daily life of inhabitants, and the mysteries of why these communities were abandoned in the late 1200s. After exploring more sites and enjoying sweeping Four Corners views, you'll return to Durango for included dinner.

- Day 11
Durango to Colorado Springs
You'll drive to Colorado Springs, passing through diverse landscapes from the San Juan Mountains to the rolling plains of the Front Range. There's a lunch stop in a local mountain community along the way. Once you arrive, you'll head to Garden of the Gods, a public park with towering red sandstone formations that create dramatic contrast against Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountains. As the sun sets, the late afternoon light will illuminate the red rocks with intense glow. You'll walk the paved trails around Balanced Rock and Cathedral Spires. Back in Colorado Springs, your evening is free to explore downtown, sample local restaurants, or check out a microbrewery for local beers.

Colorado Springs to Denver
Your leader will take you to explore Colorado Springs, then you'll depart for the scenic drive north to Denver. You'll enjoy views of the Front Range on your way to Colorado's capital city. Your trip ends in Denver with the afternoon and evening free to explore the Mile High City on your own, visit local attractions, or make your departure arrangements from Denver International Airport. If you'd like to extend your stay, contact your booking agent ahead of time to arrange extra accommodation.
