Itinerary
- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and head to your hotel on your own. At 1:30 PM, meet your tour leader in the lobby for an orientation. The afternoon takes you through some key colonial sites, including the old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Cho Lon Chinatown before stopping at Ben Thanh Market. Later that evening, there's a group dinner at a local restaurant where your guide will fill you in on what to expect from the bike tour ahead.

- Day 2
Cai Lay to An Binh Island
Head out to Cai Lay where the cycling begins. You'll bike across streams surrounded by fruit orchards and get to see how locals make traditional paper and coconut candy. After crossing the Mekong River by ferry, you'll observe the delta's plantations full of durian, jackfruit, mango, coconut, and pomelo. A cruise takes you to An Binh Island for the night. Once there, explore on foot or by bike, or pitch in helping your host prepare dinner.

Landmarks Mekong River An Binh Island - Day 3
An Binh Island to Tra Vinh
Start early boarding a local boat to reach your vehicle. Then travel to Vinh Long, a well-known fruit town on the Mekong, where you begin a bike ride through lush orchards on narrow paths. You'll ride through delta villages and observe daily riverside life as you go. After lunch, continue through coconut plantations before taking a ferry across the Mekong's main channel to reach Tra Vinh, a Khmer city where you'll spend the night. Check out the town's streets and paths after settling in.

Landmarks Vinh Long Tra Vinh - Day 4
Tra Vinh to Can Tho
Cycle from your hotel to Ba-Om Lotus Pond to see a Khmer temple and pass through several villages. The route keeps you moving through peaceful countryside and fertile rice fields toward Can Tho. You can either bike the full distance, or use the support bus or van for part or all of the ride if you prefer. Overnight stay in Can Tho.

- Day 5
Can Tho to Long Xuyen
Begin with a boat tour around Cai Rang Market, then bike around the market area and along the river. From there, cycle through charming villages to a stork sanctuary, passing home industries, timber traders, coconut crushers, small rice ports, and local markets. Use the support vehicle or keep biking to lunch, then spend the afternoon cycling through scenic countryside before heading by vehicle to your hotel in Long Xuyen.

Long Xuyen to Chau Doc
After a short drive to the start, cycle toward Chau Doc along busy river channels and past traditional brick kilns. Stop to see the Tra Su Nature Reserve, then continue to Chau Doc for the night. You have the option to shorten today's ride if needed. There's also a possible visit to the Vietnam Bachuc Killing Fields, a historical site from 1978 where over 3,000 Vietnamese were killed, before reaching Chau Doc.

After breakfast, travel back to Ho Chi Minh City by vehicle. Once you arrive, the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the city at your own pace.
