The guide Ram, the trainee guide nicknamed furba and the assistant guide mila were excellent, all of them at different points in the trip handled a variety of responsibilities excellently and I felt I could rely on them for anything. The days were structured very well and the overall schedule of the trip was excellent

The trip was well organised, the guides were exceptionally skilled and highly qualified (Maila was an exceptional assistant guide, and leader when Ram was dealing with group members with illness), the trip itself was excellent, with a great itinerary and a good mix of structured activities and free time when not hiking.

Chandra, our tour guide was the best! Him and the rest of the staff traveling with us gave 2% to make this trip unforgettable. They paid attention to every detail to make us feel comfortable and they were clearly very experience. Looked like they knew every inch of the train by heart. They kept an excellent pace, so such a challenging trek felt like a piece of cake. Thank you, Chandra, Dev, Bishnu and Comal!!!!

When I booked this tour, I was apprehensive because it only had 2 more or less bad reviews. But everything was so thoroughly organised and guides and porters had taken good care of us. They even carried an oxygen tank in case someone suffers from altitude sickness (fortunately, no one did). Personally, I would trim off the first day of walking and the last day and a half as those were a bit boring and entailed lots of road walking. From what I heard from before, accommodation improved greatly (expect no luxury of course, everything was basic, but clean). My only issue was with the food, it was written in the notes "vegetarians are well catered for" but didn't say anything for those that are not. So for LCHF people and such, beware, meat is forbidden for 4-5 days of the trek. The pace of walking was very slow (this can be good or bad, depending on personal preference).
