Do I need a proof of vaccination?

    • Explore!OperatorWritten July 2022

We do recommend that you check the state departments travel advice for Italy travel. This will advise you of eligibility to entry requirements into Italy. Although as a company it is no longer a requirement of booking with us to have proof of Vaccination. It may be a requirement for Italy. The State department website for travel will advise you of this.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten July 2022

If cancelling or amending the date then we would check with our local agent if there were any non-recoverable costs. If there were not then you can amend with no fees, if there were some charges then these would be applied. This is all up to 10 days prior to departure, if amending within 10 days of departure then it would be 100% charges.

      Wayne

      TravelerWritten February 2022

We would like more details on options if we choose NOT to do the Walk of the Gods.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten February 2022

The costs for meals may vary depending upon location, type of restaurant and number of courses eaten and so the prices given are an average guide. Local restaurants located off the beaten track may be less expensive, whereas an upmarket restaurant located in the centre of a major city may charge more. As a rough guideline we recommend around £10-£15 per person per day for lunches and £20-25 per person per day for dinners.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten February 2022

If you arrive into Naples Airport any time on day 1 then your arrival transfer is included. If you depart Naples Airport any time on day 8 then your departure transfer is included. If you extend your time then the transfers are not included but we can quote you for private transfers.

    • Explore!OperatorWritten February 2022

For anyone who doesn't wish to hike today you can be dropped off in front of Hotel Eden Roc (on Via Marconi), just outside Positano. From here it's 10 minutes' walk along the shopping street of Via Cristoforo Colombo to town centre. You can spend time on the beach, browsing the quaint shops or unwinding with a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful coastal views before meeting up with the rest of the group at the end of the walk.

      TravelerWritten February 2022

Is the Walk of the Gods mostly downhill? Is the 5 hours total spread out over most of the day?

    • Explore!OperatorWritten February 2022

The Walk of the Gods is mostly downhill. The walk will include drink/snack stops etc and breaks along the route and will take the majority of the day. The ferry to Amalfi at the end of the day is at around 17.00.

    Asked on January 17th, 2022

how strenuous is the walking part of tour?

    Tour Details
    • Explore!OperatorWritten January 2022

The Walk of the Gods to Positano is a 5 hour moderate hike. You can take a CHARTER BUS through to Positano or depending on groups ability it can be shortened to avoid the final steep descent (public bus from Montepertuso). Hike not suited for people who suffer from Vertigo. Those not wishing to hike can remain at the hotel or after transferring group to Bomerano, driver continues to Positano to drop off non-walkers in front of Hotel Eden Roc (on Via Marconi), just outside Positano.
