  We had a great time on our tour. We really enjoyed all the visits and had some great experiences. The organisation was very good, All our pickups went smoothly, the guides were helpful and knowledgeable and our contact Ms Thu from Asia Focus kept in touch everyday through WhatsApp so we knew what the next days schedule was. The bits that could've been better for us: The hotel in Ho Chi Minh City was in a very busy touristy / bar / nightclub area which is not really our scene. We would have preferred somewhere quieter really but the hotel staff were able to give us a quietish room. The days started early and sometimes ended quite late, meaning we didn't really get to explore by ourselves very much. Also if we had realised how busy the schedule was, we would have booked a couple of 'rest' days during the trip. Overall we would definitely recommend this tour!Show more

  Just back from this amazing trip organised by Asia Focus Travel. I was travelling solo for the first time in 30 years and it was a series of different tours everyday and was very varied and interesting. The tour guides were very informative and the tour was very well organised with efficient transfers and pick ups. I would highly recommend this trip and am already looking to see where I will go next!Show more

  I had never been to Asia before, apart from India and parts of the Middle East. I was anxious, but Ms. Thu patiently and calmly took me through the process, right from the beginning. In the end, it turned out to be an EXCELLENT tour! Not just one tour, but a series of different tours, with different people in different cities and even countries. But everywhere, be it at the airport or hotel, someone was waiting for you, with your name! Thank you very much Ms. Thu, for seamless organisation of such a complex package. She even, by mistake, charged me (lower) shared accommodation rates for the single rooms that I used - and she would not take the top-up, as she said this was an error on her part. When an airline company, suddenly, and without notice, brought my flight 5 hours forward, she adjusted the itinerary to fit into this inconvenience. I really enjoyed this tour, and have a ton of things to say. Accommodation was excellent! Duc Vuong Hotel in HCMC has the BEST breakfast in the world! (Thao, at the front office offered excellent service!) Pho Hoi Riverside Resort in Hoi An, also had great breakfast. I had my own car, with a tour guide and driver in Phnom Penh! This tour has left a lasting, very positive impression on me, and I will most certainly visit again! Above all, the rates were very affordable. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about taking it. My initial concerns about the lack of hundreds of reviews proved unfounded. Ms. Thu knows her job! Simply follow what she tells you, and it will work out perfect. Also, when booking internal flights, co-ordinate with her. There is one airline company, which I won't name, that I would never book with again! In addition to throwing your itinerary into a spin, they sell you even something as basic as drinking water! Ms. Thu, you are the best, you made my day, or is it my 14 days!! And hey, my phone dropped into the seat of a taxi in Can Tho. With everything in the phone, I knew I was in trouble. But the tour guide managed to trace my steps backwards, and get the taxi. I got my phone back within 30-45 minutes of starting the search.Show more

  This tour is actually arranged as a series of individual component tours. As a european, you might expect this to end...
  This tour is actually arranged as a series of individual component tours. As a european, you might expect this to end up as a disaster of missed connections and waiting around for pickups. Instead it is a triumph of organisation ... every time you arrive in a new city there is a new face to pick you up for your hotel or tour. Be warned that the tour is pretty full on with quite a lot of early starts on and travel by coach/minibus in Vietnam is very slow ... reckon on 35km per hour ... but that aside this was a very enjoyable and well organised tour. Do note the internal flight transfers in Vietnam are not included but they aren't that expensive (c. $120 per head for the two).Show more
