Leave Nairobi early and travel by 4x4 Land Cruiser toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where Sweetwaters lodge sits. After checking in and settling into your room, you'll head out for your first game drive that afternoon. This gets you oriented to the area and gives you a chance to start spotting wildlife right away.

Sweetwaters to Lake Nakuru NP
Following breakfast at the lodge, drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park with game viewing happening along the route. You'll arrive in time to check into your accommodation and then take an afternoon game drive. The park's known for its flamingos, and you may spot lions and other animals from the vehicle.

Lake Nakuru NP to Masai Mara
Start early and head toward Masai Mara National Reserve, traveling through beautiful countryside and passing by traditional Maasai communities. By afternoon you're at the reserve and ready for your first game drive there. The landscape opens up once you enter, and the wildlife viewing begins immediately.
