Amsterdam
You'll arrive in Amsterdam and get transferred to your ship. After you've settled into your suite, there's a welcome reception where you'll meet other travellers. Before dinner, you'll have fresh local oysters paired with regional sparkling wine. Your first meal on board follows, and then you can wander around the city on your own if you'd like.

Amsterdam
Two options to choose from this morning. Take a glass-top boat cruise through Amsterdam's canals to see the architecture, or head to a local cheese store and try regional Dutch varieties like Edam and Gouda. The afternoon is yours to explore more of the city at your own pace.

Arnhem
You have three activities to pick from. Check out the Airborne Museum in Arnhem for Battle of Arnhem exhibits from 1944, join a guided tour of Arnhem's highlights like the Sabelspoort gate and Mandela Bridge, or stay on the ship for a Dutch language lesson.

Utrecht Region
Two choices available. Visit the Kroller-Muller Museum to see sculpture collections including works by Monet and Picasso, or explore Huis Doorn where German Emperor Wilhelm II lived from 1920 to 1941 after fleeing to the Netherlands during World War I.

Maastricht
Tour Maastricht to see the famous tunnel caves and historic architecture. You'll have lunch at Château Neercanne with views across the Jeker Valley from the terraces, exploring the Roman history and architecture of the region.

Bruges
You'll head to Bruges, often called the Venice of the North. This medieval city has striking architecture and cobblestone streets. The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You have the full day to walk around and see the Markt and the 13th-century belfry.

Somme Battlefields
Spend the day exploring the Somme battlefields. You'll see the 1st and 2nd Australian Division Memorials and the Thiepval Memorial honoring 72,337 who died in the Battles of the Somme between 1915 and 1918. Later visit the Sir John Monash Centre at Villers-Bretonneux for stories of Australian soldiers on the Western Front.

Your ship heads into the Zeeland region. You'll see the Delta Works, one of the world's most complex modern engineering projects for flood protection that took over 30 years to complete.

Visit the World Heritage-listed Kinderdijk, known for having the largest concentration of 18th-century windmills in the country.
