Cairo
After landing in Cairo, you'll get transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to yourself. If your flight arrives early, there's a backstreets tour that departs at 10am, or you could take an optional day trip to Alexandria if you want to get more out of your first day.

- Day 2
Cairo
This morning you're heading out on a guided tour to see the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. You'll check out the three main pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus - then later visit the Egyptian Museum to see pharaonic artifacts, including Tutankhamun's famous golden mask, before heading back to your hotel.

Cairo to Bahariya Oasis
Breakfast starts at 7am before you drive 350km east into the desert to Bahariya Oasis, which takes about 4 hours. Once there, you'll grab lunch and see the Mummies Museum and Tomb of Bannantiu. After that, head to the English House for desert views, then climb sand dunes and visit the Salt Lake before settling in for the night.

- Day 4
Western Desert
You're spending the full day exploring Egypt's Western Desert. This includes the Black Desert with its volcanic landscape, a natural hot spring at Valley of El Haize, Crystal Mountain's quartz formations, and Valley of Agabat's unique rock shapes. The day ends in White Desert National Park with its wind-carved formations before you return to Al-Hafiz Camp for the night.

Western Desert to Cairo
Have breakfast at the camp and watch the desert sunrise. Then you'll make the comfortable drive back to Cairo, wrapping up your desert portion of the trip.

Cairo to Aswan
You'll fly from Cairo to Aswan where someone from Pharaon Tours meets you. Start by taking a motorboat to Agilika Island to visit Temple of Philae, a Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Isis. Next, see the High Dam built in 1960 that created Lake Nasser. Later that evening, board your 5-star Nile cruise for an overnight stay.

- Day 7
Aswan to Edfu
Start with breakfast on the cruise, then visit Temple of Kom Ombo, which has a symmetrical layout and is dedicated to Sobek and Horus. After lunch on board, head to Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples from the Ptolemaic period. If you're interested, there's an optional tour to Abu Simbel temples, featuring Ramesses II's Great Temple and Queen Nefertari's temple.

Luxor
After breakfast on board, you're exploring Luxor's East Bank starting with Temple of Karnak, the largest temple complex ever built with over 2,000 years of construction history. Later, you'll check out Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great.

- Day 9
Luxor to Hurghada
Following breakfast, head to Luxor's West Bank to explore Valley of the Kings with its tombs from different dynasties. You'll visit Temple of Deir El Bahari and stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two large seated statues of Amenophis III. Then see the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, built for the 18th Dynasty pharaoh in 1458 BC. Later, drive through the hills to the Red Sea coast and arrive at an all-inclusive beachfront resort in Hurghada. An optional sunrise hot air balloon ride is available if you want a 45-minute aerial view of Luxor.

- Days 10 - 12
Hurghada
You have three full days to unwind in Hurghada, one of the Red Sea's top resort destinations. There's sailing, windsurfing, yachting, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling with access to excellent offshore reefs. An optional trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkeling can be arranged locally. Nearby, you can also check out the ancient Roman quarry Mons Porphyritis or Port Safarga, known for windsurfing.
