  I came to Morocco with a group of my friends, 4 of us total, for our college spring break. We were incredibly excited about this guided trip because it took the stress away from us of having to plan outings, as everything was thoughtfully prepared for us. This trip did not disappoint. I absolutely couldn’t say better things about Morocco, the people, the food, the excursions, the culture and the people. We were incredibly sad to leave. Apart of the reason this trip was so good was because of our guide Abdul. Abdul is a special person, and you can tell that he takes great pride and passion in his job and his country. It is a great thing to witness and this company should feel grateful they have someone like Abdul representing them. As 4 young girls travelling to a foreign country, having Abdul there for us was incredibly pivotal and helpful in our journey. Whether it was telling us what areas were best for us to be in, or what was the best price to pay for a certain item, or teaching us some Arabic/Berber so we could better connect with the locals, all of his efforts helped make our trip a 10/10. You can tell he is an experienced professional in the tourism industry and his care and concerns for how our day was, if we enjoyed our excursions, among many other things truly shows that passion for his work. Also I wanted to mention that just from observation, Morocco is a difficult country to drive in, but Abdul is a great driver and made us feel safe at all times and always checking if we needed washroom or food. As for the tour itself, the accommodations were all beautiful. Before coming to Morocco I had never heard of a Riad, but they are now some of the most beautiful places i’ve ever stayed at. Every accommodation was clean, safe and had incredibly welcoming and helpful staff. The excursions were amazing and something I feel we lucked out on because of our choice to go with a guided tour. Whether it was experiencing the handicrafts of the locals (pottery, tile work, carpeting, argon oil etc), or exploring the souks and learning to barter, or getting to hold and feed monkeys, or getting to ride camels, or experience camp fire and local music with the people in the desert camp, this entire trip felt like a once in a lifetime experience that i’m truly grateful for. I feel like our days were packed full of awesome stuff, but not to the point of over-doing it, it was a good balance. After 3 days, we did so many activities we felt like we’d lived a thousand lives, we truly felt like we got our moneys worth. Lastly, the food and meals included were delicious, they felt fresh and real, not like the typical hotel breakfasts you’d get in the Canada or the USA, this was really good food. The dinners that were included were amazing and we now love and will definitely miss Moroccan food and hospitality. Overall, I genuinely couldn’t say better things about this company, this tour or Abdul. I am eternally grateful for the beautiful country of Morocco! And shukran Abdul ???? We will totally be back.Show more
