Arusha to Serengeti National Park
You'll leave Arusha in the morning and head toward Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through changing landscapes, and you'll stop for an afternoon game drive along the way. This gives you a chance to start seeing wildlife as you make your way to the lodge or campsite in central Serengeti, so you arrive with some great first sightings already under your belt.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 2
Serengeti National Park
This is a full day dedicated to game drives throughout Serengeti National Park. You'll be out looking for wildlife from early morning through the afternoon, with chances to follow the Great Migration if you're traveling during the right season. Lions, cheetahs, zebras, and other animals are spread across the park, so your guide will take you where sightings are most likely depending on the time of year.

Landmarks Serengeti National Park - Day 3
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You'll start early with a morning game drive in Serengeti, spotting wildlife before heading back for lunch. After eating, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive gives you time to relax and take in the scenery. By evening you'll reach your lodge on the crater rim, positioned perfectly for views and ready for the next day's activities.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
This morning you'll descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor acts like a natural arena with concentrated wildlife, so you'll see plenty of animals in a relatively compact area. Later you'll head back up and drive toward Arusha, where your safari concludes. The return journey takes several hours, so you'll arrive in the afternoon or early evening.
