  I am reposting previews review with additional details. Before purchasing this tour, we asked the agency details about the hotel class we would be staying in as a way to have some peace of mind. The agency provided two options, a 4-star and a 5-star for additional cost. We were happy to select a 4-star hotel. After booking however, our hotel confirmation was changed 3 times and with no familiarity of the area, we trusted the agency to maintain the promise of a 4-star caliber accommodation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a driver and driven to the hotel booked for our tour. In the drop off process, it was unclear whether we had a tour guide who would meet us or if the driver would be our tour guide. The driver was not aware of our tour itinerary and did not speak much English so he could not clarify. I reached out to the agency to figure out what was going on, if the driver would be our guide, he needs to have the itinerary... or if we will have another tour guide, we need to know when/how we're supposed to meet. In the previous reply, the agency claims they were going to provide a different tour guide but that information was never shared probably because, as soon as we checked into the hotel we realized that it was not what was promised. The rooms had old frayed gray towels that were once white, the bedding and walls were stained, there was broken furniture, the bathrooms were less than clean; this was not a 4-star level hotel. When we reported these issues to the tour agency they offered us to get an upgraded room, told us that they could not move us because the hotel was already paid for and that it "at least it is clean". An upgraded room does not make a 2 star hotel into a 4 star experience. With our hotel being changed 3 time before our arrival, with the lack of awareness for hotels, and disorganized logistics (driver vs tour guide) I would not recommend his agency. In fact, you are better off finding a hotel and arranging your activities locally; people speak english, there are lots of tour vendors, drivers, etc. and in all likelihood, you'll end up spending the same. We ended up booking our own hotel for the rest of the week, checking out of the hotel and canceling the tour. Afterwards, we were able to do all the activities listed on the tour without any agency quite easily. Our experience in Bali was excellent after we cancelled this tour.Show more

The last few tours I'd taken provided a guide, who sometimes doubled as a driver. The covered all the basics. And you could choose extras on site. Tobadaa provided a driver, covered the hotel, and suggested an itinerary. You paid for the activities. This meant you could find discounts... And skip things you were uninterested in. My tour...
