Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu
You'll get picked up at the airport and head to your hotel where they'll give you a welcome drink and go over what's coming up during your trip.
- Day 2
Bhaktapur - Patan - Kathmandu
Starting with Bodhnath stupa, you'll see the Buddhist worship site and watch the spinning prayer wheels. After that, you're heading to Bhaktapur to check out Durbar Square and try your hand at pottery-making at Pottery Square. By evening you'll be in Patan's Durbar Square, then dinner comes with a traditional Nepali dance performance.

Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park
The drive to Chitwan National Park takes about 5 hours, so you'll arrive around lunch time. Over the next couple days you can do jeep safaris, village walks, jungle nature walks, canoe rides down the Rapti River, and bird watching. One evening there's a traditional Tharu dance performance with dinner.

Chitwan National Park to Pokhara
A short flight gets you to Pokhara by early afternoon. The rest of your day is free to relax and walk around this lakeside town, which sits right at the gateway to the Annapurna Range.

- Day 6
Pokhara
Wake up early to catch the sunrise at World Peace Pagoda and see the Annapurna range spread out before you. Grab breakfast with mountain views at Raniban Retreat Resort, then take a 2-hour walk through the forest down to Lake Phewa for a boat ride. After that, you'll visit Tashiling Tibetan refugee camp to learn about life there, then head to Jangchub Choeling Monastery to watch the monks' daily prayers.

Pokhara
This day is yours to do what you want. If you're interested, there are optional activities like paragliding, ultra-light flights, zip lining, bungy jumping, mountain biking, cycling, boating, or horse riding. Or you can just relax by the lake.

- Day 8
Pokhara to Kathmandu
A short flight brings you back to Kathmandu for the afternoon. You'll check out Swayambhunath stupa with nice city views, then walk over to Kathmandu Durbar Square which has over 50 temples and shrines. Later there's a rickshaw ride from Hanuman Dhoka through the back streets to Thamel. This evening you can wander the Thamel market and pick up any souvenirs you want.

Kathmandu to Delhi
You'll head to the airport for your flight to Delhi (you'll need to book this yourself). Once you land, someone will meet you and take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore on your own before the group meets at the hotel at 6:00 PM for an introductory meeting.

- Day 10
Delhi to Agra
This morning you're doing sightseeing in Old and New Delhi, starting with Humayun's Tomb and Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India). You'll also see Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the Sikh temple with its community kitchen that feeds tens of thousands of people daily. Next comes a rickshaw ride around Chandni Chowk bazaar followed by exploring New Delhi including Rajpath and India Gate. In the afternoon, you're driving to Agra and checking into your hotel with the rest of the day free.

Agra
This morning you'll visit the Taj Mahal, the white marble monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a tribute to his wife. After spending time there, you're heading to Agra Fort to see the massive red sandstone walls and Mughal buildings that show what the Mughal era was like.

Agra to Karauli or Dholpur
You're traveling to either Karauli or Dholpur with a lunch stop along the way. In Karauli you'll stay at Palace Bhanwar Vilas, a heritage hotel from 1938 that was originally the family home of the Maharaja of Jaipur. In Dholpur you'll be at Raj Niwas Palace, a red sandstone palace built by the Maharaja back in 1876. The afternoon is yours to explore the grounds, see vintage cars, or swim. There's an optional evening Aarti ceremony if you're interested.

Karauli or Dholpur to Jaipur
You're driving toward Jaipur, the UNESCO-listed Pink City. When you get there, you'll spend the afternoon at City Palace and the Jantar Mantar Space Observatory, which has 19 different astrological instruments.

Jaipur
Get an early start with an optional hot-air balloon ride if you book it locally. Later you'll take a jeep to Amber Fort for a guided tour and visit a cotton weaving house to see fabric dyeing in action. The rest of the day is free, so you can explore the Johari Bazaar in the Old Pink City if you want to.

Jaipur to Ranthambore National Park
The drive to Ranthambore National Park takes 3 to 4 hours. You'll spend two days here doing game drives to look for Bengal tigers, which is what this Project Tiger reserve has been protecting since 1973. With two trips into the park, you'll have a solid chance of seeing these animals. The reserve also has leopards, sloth bears, sambar, hyenas, and crocodiles.
