The minimum age for this trip is 18 years +. If you have a child between 12-18, many of our classic trip options would be available or our National Geographic Family Journeys.

Why is this trip only for 18-39 yrs olds? Some of us Older would love to come and we have more money to Spend?

These tours are designed for travellers aged 18-39 years old wishing to form interpersonal connections with travellers around their age, while visiting a new destination. Travellers must be 39 years old or younger (but at least 18 years old) as of Day 1 of the departure date of the tour. We do often have travellers outside of this age range who are interested in these trips; however, we have to hold true to our promise on delivering the interpersonal experience we wish to offer with this product.

i need a visa as a Ugandan who wants to join this adventure. I would like to know if there is any kind of document you can provide me to support my visa application. And i would also like to know how i will manage the payment process as some one who is not sure how long my visa process might take.

It does look like you will require a visa for the countries that get visited. We would suggest finding out from your embassy what is going to be required for your Visa application. Also to find out how long the process is prior to making any travel plans.

I like to tour Europe by rail with my family between June22-July4. There are 6 of us. I am open to other suggestions. Our dates are within what I stated earlier. Reasons for those dates are my children finished uni and graduation date. Hotel 3-4 star. Places of interest is southern European countries. We don't mind Eastern Europe if is any good.

We use trains on some of our trips, the trips will also have other forms of transport as well.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 1st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 1st, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
