Is this tour a good match for a 30ish single male or would he be much younger than the group?

    Age Range
    • Irish Experience ToursOperatorWritten August 2026

Absolutely! The 7 Day Atlantic Way Experience - Small Group Tour is a great choice for a solo traveller in his 30s. Our tours are open to adults of all ages, and it's not uncommon to have guests in their 30s travelling alongside people in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. What brings everyone together is a shared love of travel, adventure, and experiencing the real Ireland. We also welcome plenty of solo travellers, so it's a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people. Our small group tours have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and guests often form lasting friendships along the way.

      TravelerWritten July 2026

Would it be possible to stay in hotels instead of B&Bs?

    • Irish Experience ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

You don't need to decide on any of the optional activities before you travel. In fact, we encourage guests to wait until they're on tour, as this allows you to see how you're feeling, what the weather is like, and what the rest of the group is doing. Your driver-guide will explain all of the available options throughout the week, and you'll be able to book and pay locally.

    • Irish Experience ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

Most attractions, restaurants and activity providers accept U.S. credit cards, so there's very little need to carry cash. We usually recommend having around €100–€200 in cash for smaller purchases or places that may not accept cards, but credit and debit cards are widely accepted throughout Ireland. You can obtain Euros either before you leave the United States or simply withdraw them from an ATM when you arrive in Ireland using your bank card.

    • Irish Experience ToursOperatorWritten July 2026

The Premium Hotel Package would be the perfect choice for you both if you prefer hotels rather than guesthouses or B&Bs.
