Absolutely! The 7 Day Atlantic Way Experience - Small Group Tour is a great choice for a solo traveller in his 30s. Our tours are open to adults of all ages, and it's not uncommon to have guests in their 30s travelling alongside people in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. What brings everyone together is a shared love of travel, adventure, and experiencing the real Ireland. We also welcome plenty of solo travellers, so it's a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded people. Our small group tours have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and guests often form lasting friendships along the way.

Do we have to have the extra activities all picked out before we go or can we pay when we get there?

Do they take United States credit cards? Or do we need to carry cash and if that's the case where do we get our dollars from the United States changed to European money or Irish money.

I am looking at the Tour for Sep 29 to Oct 5, but I am flying in from the United State arriving a day early on the 28th and leaving a day later on the 6th. How do I go about acquiring transportation and a place to stay those two nights?

Yes we can but a triple usually consists of a large double bed for two people and a single bed for one person.

Do you meet people at the airport and take to the hotel the first and last night of the tour? I am traveling solo and am 70 yrs young.

We don't meet people at the airport but it's very easy for a young person like yourself to get a taxi from right outside the terminal to your accommodation in Dublin. The cost would be about 30 euros door to door.

What's the age/gender demographic of the people who have signed up for the tour sep 23-29? Will I have a private room? What time does the group meet on Sep 23?

Ages range from 43 to 72 years old. Private rooms are available if you've booked the single supplement. The group meets at 8:15 AM in the lobby of Point A Hotel, Parnell Street, Dublin. We depart at 8:30 AM sharp, so please be on time (or early!).

Overall the tour was good. Some of the listed add-ons were actually not doable due to the times of availability and how long our stay was. A little disappointing. A couple of the hotels were not up to par, and the breakfasts in a few were not the best. More commentary on the places we were driving through would have been nice as would have been more details about the activities of the day before getting to the location. Generally just more information! A few more planned quick restroom stops would have made the trip more comfortable for the passengers.Show more

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, poor weather in Dingle meant some optional activities, including the Sea Safari & kayaking, could not operate. To ensure the group still had an additional experience, we arranged and paid for a Dingle Crystal demonstration and tour. You also had free time in Killarney from 8:30am until 1pm, giving guests plenty of time to explore independently. You travelled on our Classic Package, which is designed to offer good value while giving guests the warmth and character of locally run Irish accommodation. This includes a mix of B&Bs, guesthouses and smaller family-run hotels. On your tour, this included Blindgate House in Kinsale, Abbey Lodge in Killarney, Harbour Lodge in Dingle and The Imperial Hotel in Galway city centre, all in keeping with the Classic Package. For guests who prefer a more consistent hotel standard and additional amenities throughout their trip, we recommend our Premium Package. The Classic Package is aimed at guests who prioritise value for money while still enjoying genuine Irish hospitality and locally run accommodation. We appreciate your comments about the commentary and comfort stops, and we’ll take them on board as we continue to improve the experience for our guests.

Great trip but wish it was longer. Not enough time spent in Dingle, Blarney Castle, and Kilkenny. Tour guide was exceptional and such a great sense of humour....feel like he will be a lifelong friend! B&B's were wonderful especially Adare Guest House! That was my favorite. Food and accommodations were wonderful and the hostess was so helpful and lovely. Of course feeding the lambs was the highlight of my tour and holding them was an experience I'll never forget!Show more
