You'll arrive in Charleston and get settled into the Historic District. If your flight comes in early enough, there's time to wander around on your own. The Patriot's Point Naval Museum or the Aiken-Rhett House are both worth checking out before heading to your hotel for the evening.

Charleston
Start your morning at the City Market where you can see traditional Gullah sweetgrass basketry being made. From there, head to Boone Hall Plantation to walk through the historic gardens and original cabins. You'll have options for the afternoon: either a guided walk through Charleston's historic center or a harbor cruise to Fort Sumter, depending on what interests you more. By evening, there's a welcome dinner followed by a 3-mile driving tour through James Island County Park to see the 500,000 holiday lights.

Charleston to Savannah
Your morning is free to explore Charleston however you'd like. If you're interested, there's an optional horse-and-carriage tour available with lunch included. Later you'll travel down the coast through South Carolina's Low Country to reach Savannah. Once there, you can walk through Factors Walk and along River Street to see the converted cotton warehouses. The day wraps up with a cooking demonstration and dinner at a local restaurant right on River Street.

Savannah
You get to choose between a narrated trolley ride or a walking tour that focuses on Savannah's haunted history. Either option takes you through cobblestone streets, past moss-draped oaks and stately mansions, and around the city's beautiful squares. Both tours include a guided visit to the Mercer Williams House. After that, the rest of your day and evening is completely yours to explore at your own pace.

Later, continue on to Jekyll Island and check into the Jekyll Island Club where you'll stay for the next two nights.

During the day, there's a tram ride through Jekyll Island's Historic Landmark District, one of the largest restoration projects in the country. In the evening, you'll join Christmas caroling and enjoy refreshments before a farewell dinner at the Jekyll Island Club.
