Puerto Vallarta - Guadalajara
You'll travel from Puerto Vallarta to Guadalajara, stopping at a tequila distillery where they show you how it's made and you get to taste some samples. After that, wander through the city checking out the colonial and modern buildings, see the Cathedral, and catch live Mariachi music happening in the evening.

Spend time in the plazas, look through artisan shops, and see the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel before continuing on to Mexico City, which sits at 2,200 meters elevation.
