Start your day in Düsseldorf by picking one of several options depending on what interests you most. If you want to walk around, there's a guided tour through the old town and harbour area that covers the historic streets and riverside spots. Prefer something active? You can cycle along the Rhine out to Kaiserswerth, which gives you a nice ride along the water. If you're into beer, local microbreweries offer tasting experiences where you'll sample what the region produces. For art lovers, the K20 or K21 Museum has works worth spending a few hours with. Plan on taking your time with whichever activity you choose, then grab lunch somewhere in the old town before heading back to explore more of the city on your own.
