Regarding your question, it is not possible to add Chimborazo to the current 12-day plan. This is because the drive is very long. All our tours start and end in Quito every day, so to visit Chimborazo, we would need to add one extra day to your trip. If you decide to add an extra day, I recommend these closer options: Antisana, Pululahua, or Pasochoa. These are beautiful nature areas and much easier to visit from Quito.

I booked a 12 day tour of Ecuador with this company and I don't think I could be more unhappy with what I received....
I booked a 12 day tour of Ecuador with this company and I don't think I could be more unhappy with what I received. The itinerary I paid for and the itinerary I received were not the same. The guides were rude and difficult to work with. One guide actually told me that she was not going to complete the tour with me which made me fearful that I was going to get stuck somewhere in Ecuador without a guide. Luckily the guide spoke with the company and she was instructed to complete the tour. However, after the tour guide stated she would not complete the trip, the communication between us was tense and I could not enjoy the rest of the day. I didn't meet the person assigned to oversee my trip until the last day that I was in Ecuador. I should have been met with on the first day so that the new itinerary could have been discussed and I would have had the chance to ask questions. My recommendation to anyone reading this review is to find another company to work with. Responsible Travel is unprofessional and seemingly uncaring about providing direct service to their customers.Show more

Benjiman (tour coordinator) was communicating routinely to and always available to answer any questions. Everything was very well organized from pick ups to drop offs.
