Itinerary
- Day 1
Las Vegas to Bishop
The day starts with pickup at Palms Casino at 8:00 am, then you'll head northeast into California toward Death Valley National Park. This is one of the hottest and driest spots in North America, so expect intense heat and unique desert landscapes. You'll stop at several key spots including Zabriskie Point for some great views and photos, Artist's Palette with its colorful rock formations, and Badwater Basin where the salt flats stretch out in front of you. There's also time at Furnace Creek Visitor Center to learn more about the park, plus Devil's Golf Course and Mesquite Sand Dunes for short walks and more photos. After having a picnic lunch somewhere in the park, you'll continue driving north to Bishop for the night, arriving by late afternoon or early evening.

- Day 2
Bishop to Yosemite National Park
Today involves driving to Yosemite National Park on a scenic route that crosses Tioga Pass. Along the way, you'll pass through some notable areas like Olmsted Point where the views open up nicely, Lake Tenaya which sits along the route, and Tuolumne Meadows with its wide alpine landscape. Once you arrive at Yosemite, stop by the Valley Visitor Center to get oriented and hear from your guide about what the park has to offer. This short orientation tour helps set the stage for exploring the valley and gives context for the natural features you'll see over the next couple of days.

- Day 3
Yosemite National Park
You'll spend the entire day in Yosemite National Park with a mix of guided group walks and personal exploration time. Your tour guide leads walks to see Bridalveil Falls and Lower Yosemite Falls, both classic features of the valley, and you'll get views of the iconic Half Dome and El Capitan rock formations from various spots. Keep an eye out for wildlife as you walk around since deer are common, and you might spot marmots, bobcats, or even black bears from a safe distance. The balance between group activities and free time lets you either follow the guide or wander off to find your own favorite spots in the valley.

- Day 4
Yosemite National Park to San Francisco
You'll leave Yosemite and drive about 3.5 hours west across California to reach San Francisco. Once in the city, an included sightseeing tour takes you to the major highlights like the Golden Gate Bridge for photos and views, Fisherman's Wharf with its shops and activity, Pier 39 along the waterfront, and the historic Haight Ashbury neighborhood known for its hippie culture and vintage character. The tour wraps up around 5:00 pm when you'll be dropped off in the city centre, giving you the rest of the evening to settle in or explore on your own.
