- Day 1
Sofia
You'll arrive at Sofia airport and get transferred to your hotel. Once you're settled, a guided tour takes you through the city's key sites including Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Sofia Basilica, the National Art Gallery Building, and the Presidential Palace. It's a solid introduction to Bulgaria's capital and its religious and cultural heart.

Sofia to Belgrade
After breakfast, you'll head out on the bus toward Belgrade. The drive gives you views over the Danube and Sava rivers with Belgrade Fortress visible along the way. Once there, you can walk down Knez Mihailova, the main shopping street with cafes and local shops scattered throughout. A walking tour then covers the city's historical landmarks and the stories behind them.

Belgrade to Sarajevo
Breakfast comes first, then you're off to Sarajevo. This capital has gone through major changes historically, from Roman times through the meeting of different cultures and religions. Today you'll notice war damage still visible on buildings from the Yugoslav conflict. A walking tour takes you through the old town where you can see its Eastern character and try local specialties, particularly lamb dishes.

- Day 4
Sarajevo - Mostar - Trebinje
The route heads toward the Adriatic coast, stopping in Mostar first. You'll walk through the old town and see Stari Most, the famous bridge, plus the old bazaar area. Lunch at a local restaurant gives you good views and a chance to try Turkish coffee. Later in the afternoon you continue south to Trebinje for the night, and the drive includes an optional stop at Kravica Waterfalls if you're interested.

- Day 5
Trebinje to Dubrovnik - Kotor - Shkodra
This is a full day starting in Dubrovnik. The entire old town with its stone walls and terra-cotta roofs is a UNESCO site, and you'll get a guided walking tour covering the main areas. From there you head to Kotor, which has the feel of Dubrovnik but sees fewer crowds and has a medieval fortress. You'll walk through Kotor's old town with local knowledge and free time to explore. Later you drive into Albania toward Shkodra.

- Day 6
Shkodra to Tirana to Ohrid
After eating, a panoramic tour of Tirana shows off the city's preserved architecture. You get free time at Skenderbeg Square in the town center to walk around and get a feel for local life. In the afternoon the drive continues toward Ohrid in Macedonia. By evening you're at your hotel, and you can either rest or join an optional Balkan dinner if you're up for it.

Ohrid - Sveti Naum - Ohrid
Breakfast done, a guided tour of Ohrid covers major sites including the Lower Gate, traditional houses, Saint Sophia Cathedral, the antique theater, the 13th century Church Saint Bogorodica, the Upper Gate, and Tsar Samuil Fortress with its historical significance and views. After that you head to St. Naum monastery, a historic site right on Lake Ohrid's shore where you can see the landscape and feel the area's spiritual character.
