Yes, you can pay separately and make two separate reservation and you will be listed on the same group for the departure. There is only 1 group per departure, with 1 tour leader

Are departure transfers included in the tour package?

Departure transfers are not included but can be arranged for $20 per person if you are leaving together.

Are there any additional fees if I change the date of my tour?

If you change the dates 30 days or more before departure, there are no fees. Changes closer to the departure date may incur fees.

Is the santa elena cloud reserve hike easy or moderate? What is the duration? Distance? Is it mostly flat or hilly? We will have 2 middle age women and 2 elderly parents in their 80's who can walk on their own. What is the weather like in monteverde including temperature?

The physical rate is light walking, so nothing too strenuous. Santa Elena Cloud Forest Guided Tour is 2 hours - 2-3km. Walk along trails at a leisurely pace, watch for wildlife, and trek to observation tower. March is the dry season with sunny weather. Average mountain temperatures are 75 to 85 °F during the day, cooling off at night.

Is medical travel insurance mandatory for this tour?

Yes, it is mandatory for all of our travellers to have Emergency Medical Travel Insurance that will cover the dates of the tour. This policy must include medical expenses coverage, emergency evacuation benefit, and repatriation to your home country.

Is it possible to have single room accommodations?

Single room supplements are available upon request and can be quoted along with the tour.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
