  I chose Exploria for my 2 week tour of Lahore, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan based on online reviews and Arif’s responsiveness and can-do attitude in planning my trip. The success on the ground of any trip like this really depends on the availability of support from the company during the tour, the standard of accomodation and the quality of the guides. It proved to be a very enjoyable and I have some fantastic memories, so thank you to the Exploria team. Fareed, my guide in Gilgit-Baltistan was very good - he’s a local, has been doing this for years and has friends and contacts everywhere. He was flexible, patient and knowledgeable, with excellent English. The mountains are stunning, especially during blossom season, and I strongly recommend both him and this area. My guides for my initial 3 days in Lahore and Islamabad were less good - not knowledgeable about the sites visited, or at least unable to communicate what they did know due to lack of fluent English. My first guide was also late meeting me at the Wagah border. The hotels were all clean and comfortable. Exploria were in regular contact with myself and the guides throughout the tour. They established a WhatsApp group so that they were on call for any issues that did arise, such as arranging last-minute car transport following the cancellation of my Gilgit-Islamabad flight. With the benefit of hindsight, I have a few suggestions for anyone planning to go this area in March-April. Firstly, although the blossom is beautiful and it was very uncrowded, it is very early in the season in the mountains - not all facilities are open and many hiking trails may be inaccessible due to snow. Secondly, think very carefully about including flights to or from Gilgit - the cancellation rate due to bad weather is high and the alternative road-trip to Islamabad (nearly 15 hours in my case), on frequently awful roads, is not fun. Thirdly, I was in Lahore/Islamabad during Ramadan, and although there was no restriction on me eating or drinking, it was hot and by mid-afternoon energy levels amongst those who were fasting understandably dropped; their focus was on sunset and the breaking of the fast. Finally, don’t apply for a Pakistan e-visa too early - a 90 day visa expires 90 days after it is issued, regardless of your travel dates; also, keep a hard copy handy at all times as it is checked frequently.Show more

  Exploria PK arranged a 10-Day solo custom tour to Skardu and Hunza for me in April. The landscape of Gilgit-Baltistan region is breathtakingly spectacular. And local people, young and old, are super friendly. I think everyone should visit this region at least once in his/her lifetime. My tour guide Fareed is native to this region. He is very knowledgeable of the local history and attentive to my needs. He also knows places where very few western tourists visit. I enjoyed the trip very much and I plan to come back in the future. I highly recommend Exploria PK and Fareed.Show more

  I had an unforgettable experience with Exploria on my tour to Hunza, Skardu, and Naltar Valley in October 2024 with my family! The entire trip was phenomenal, thanks to their amazing team, especially our guide Asif, a local who made the journey even more special with his knowledge and hospitality. One of the highlights was the complimentary musical night in Hunza, which was an absolute blast and truly captured the spirit of the region. The hotels we stayed at were top-notch, offering comfort and great service. A huge shoutout to our driver, Rahman, who was always on time, helpful, and made us feel safe throughout the trip.   Pakistan has always been on my desired destinations list and it didn't disappoint. Exploria and Ajmal assisted me in giving the best experience one can have. Communication was quick. Ajmal made changes in my itinerary at the last minute to Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parba treks. I loved the scenery, the opportunity to trek to glaciers and Ang’s Patbat but mostly, I found the people so kind, hospitable and friendly, Exploria provided excellent guides/drivers.   Together with my girlfriend we travel from Uruguay to Pakistan by mid May through Exploria.pk. Our tour started in Islamabad and included Fairy Meadows (incredible place and landscapes), Hunza and all arround, Lahore and back to Islamabad. We did more than 3000 km going from -0 temperaturas to more than 40grades. We made the majority of the tour by car with a team of guide (Farman) and driver (Bilal) that performed perfectly, giving us assistance in every thing we needed and beyond, showing us how the deepper Pakistan is, telling how people is including the possibility to meet local people and listen folk music among other things as making possible to experience local food. We are more than happy to have discovered Pakistan and break the myths occidental people have about such an amazing country. We hope to be back sooner than later! Thanks Exploria who made all arrangements as per our request with very nice and comfortable locations. Thanks Farman and Bilal, we will always remember with a smile on our faces the days with you guys.Show more
