We very much enjoyed the small group tour. Tomas, our tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable of every stop within the itinerary. We will definitely book with Collette again. It is impossible to to elaborate on our "favorite memorable experience" as each day was filled with such experiences. Always on my "bucket list" was to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau. How anyone can say that the Holocaust didn't happen, must visit the museum.Show more

Our very informed guides described and showed us the architectural and political contributions of the Hapsburgs and life in Eastern Europe during and after WW2. The damage to glorious architecture of the prewar period has been miraculously restored in the cities and towns we visited. Our guides movingly described the painful years during WW2, and life under communism. Our visits to a former Gestapo headquarters in Budapest and to Auschwicz and Burkinau were sobering. Our evening boat ride on the Danube to see the lavishly lit Budapest from the water was exhilarating. It was a most educational, thought-provoking trip.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 95 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
