The tour was great! Of course there were places we could have stayed longer. The tour was informative, comfortable, and most importantly fun! Would definitely do it again

Our tour guide Laurentiu (aka Lawrence) was amazing. He was equal parts informative and funny. Very easygoing and answered all our questions. The itinerary itself was good. I would definitely would have liked at least an entire day in Sibiu and Sighișoara at minimum and another whole day in Brasov. I would not mind if the tour was longer and the price would certainly be worth it. Romania is a much more beautiful country than I expected and I can’t wait to visit other parts!

Had a great time. Met a lot of nice people from around the world. Our guide was great. Very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Only complaint is that our hotels were so far away from the market and city attractions. Felt like a trip within a trip.

What our customers ask about Festival & Events Tours in Europe
What are the most popular festivals and events included in European tours?
The European festival calendar offers year-round celebrations that draw visitors from across the globe. Munich's Springfest brings traditional Bavarian festivities in April while Budapest's Sziget Festival transforms an island into a musical haven each August. Winter sees Christmas Markets light up cities across Germany and Austria. In March Dublin turns green for St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Tour packages typically provide VIP access to festival grounds and reserved seating areas. The atmosphere at these events can be electric as one TourRadar traveler describes the Munich Frühlingsfest: "the crowd energy was overwhelming with lots of good people enjoying the night."
What's the typical accommodation like on European festival tours?
Mid-range to upscale hotels form the backbone of festival tour accommodations with properties chosen for their proximity to event venues. The Le Meridien Munich stands out as a 5-star option near the Springfest grounds while the Imperial Riding School in Vienna and Leonardo Royal in Munich place visitors steps from Christmas Market action. Budget-conscious travelers can find camping and hostel options particularly during summer festivals. As one TourRadar traveler noted about Sziget Festival "the hostels were ok but the amazing people made up for it."
When is the best time to book a European festival tour?
Planning ahead is essential for European festival tours with peak events requiring bookings 6-12 months in advance. Christmas Market tours see most reservations 4-6 months before departure while major summer events like Sziget Festival fill up 8-10 months ahead. The early booking window ensures better accommodation choices and event access. One TourRadar traveler's advice rings true: "I'd recommend booking early as the best accommodation and festival packages sell out quickly especially for popular events like St. Patrick's Day in Dublin."
What are the most popular Festival & Events destinations in Europe?
Germany leads the festival circuit with Munich and Stuttgart's beer celebrations while Edinburgh's Hogmanay transforms Scotland's capital into a New Year spectacle. Zagreb has earned recognition for its Christmas markets and Gallipoli Turkey draws thousands for ANZAC Day observations. The winter festival season brings special charm to Vienna and Berlin. A TourRadar traveler describes Vienna's appeal: "The Christmas markets in Vienna were simply magical with the best atmosphere and traditional treats at every corner."
How much should I budget for a Festival & Events tour in Europe?
Festival tour prices span from $268 for a basic 5-day Oktoberfest camping experience to $2439 for an 11-day ANZAC Day tour in Turkey. Daily costs average between $54-300 covering accommodations guided tours festival entry and select meals. Budget add-ons can enhance the experience as noted by one TourRadar traveler: "The unlimited beer and sangria package at Stoketoberfest for an extra €10 per day was totally worth it for the festival experience."
What accommodation options are available during European festivals?
Lodging choices range from luxury hotels to festival campgrounds. The 5-star Raddison Red in Vienna represents the high-end spectrum while Stoke Travel's campgrounds offer a more communal festival experience. Christmas market tours favor upscale properties like Split's Heritage Hotel Fermai MGallery and Zagreb's Le Premier Boutique Hotel. A TourRadar Oktoberfest visitor shares: "The campsite had great facilities with food trucks shisha lounge hangout spaces and 24-hour security though expect basic tent accommodations with sleeping bags and mattresses."
