we can't arrange just beer tent reservations however since it's not legal to resell these. The only way you can legitimately get them is from the beer tents direct, you will need to contact each beer tent individually to do this. It will not be possible to get reservations for opening day, these are made available only to long-term existing customers (mostly Munich locals and German companies). Please do not buy these via any kind of "reseller", they will be a scam. I would recommend a company like Radius or Thirsty Historian, they offer day-tours that include reservations (however only day-time reservations and not opening weekend)

Could they get a triple room at Le Meridien?

We can do triple-share rooming there, but the room is essentially a double-occupancy room with an extra bed added. The bed is slightly shorter than a standard bed - it's 2 meters but that includes the headboard so some people find them a bit small. If the extra person is very tall this might bother them. It hasn't been an issue 99% of the time but just for your info. Can you tell me also if you'd prefer a room with 3 separate beds or 1 king-size bed and the extra bed? I will need to check availability with the hotel if you want 3 separate beds.

Are airport transfers and city tours included in the 3 night tour price? Would like a 4 night price estimate with Le Meridian hotel.

We cannot arrange airport transfer for groups less than 20 people. For city tours we recommend local companies like Radius Tours or The Thirsty Historian. It is not something we do, we specialise in purely festival and pub tours.

Wanted to modify tour option for Munich beer tour. Would arrive in Munich on Sunday September 22 and leave on Friday the 27th. Need three rooms. Two rooms for two people each and third room for three people. Would like one day for city tour and rest of time at festival.

2024 packages are booked out. Only mid-week 2 package (1st October for 3 nights) available at 5-star Le Meridien or 3-star Senator hotel. Would need to request a triple-share room. Unable to customize dates this late.

What is the upcharge for attending solo?

The single-occupancy rate for those dates at our Le Meridien package is 2,095 EURO per person, 500 EURO additional to the listed rate. It will be converted to your local currency when you book via TourRadar.

Is it safe for a female traveler to go to Oktoberfest alone?

Yes we have a lot of women travelling by themselves, that won't be a problem. The single-room rate for that date at the 5-star Le Meridien is 2,395 EURO.

We have about 6 of us. We are doing Berlin Marathon on 9/24/23 and we wanted to all do Ofest. Can you recommend another tour operator that has availability?

Sorry but we are completely booked out now for 2023, you could try Spyglass tours or do a search on TourRadar for other tour operators.

I was looking at Oktoberfest for 2023, spent 1 rainy day in the Hoffbrau house tent this year thinking of opening to midweek. we were booked at the Sofitel across from the Meridian for 4 nights this year. Can your La Merridian package be extended to include opening weekend? And what tents would we receive tickets for, my wife prefers to drink wine but had a good time this year

Thanks for your enquiry about our Oktoberfest packages, we will actually be offering an option at the Le Meridien. The tents at this stage will be Marstall on the Sunday night (they have wine, champagne etc) and Hofbrauhaus on the Monday evening (they also have a wine, I think it's a white wine).

Is there a shuttle from airport to the hotel? Is there a breakfast at the hotel?

Airport transfer is not included. It's cheaper to get a taxi (approx 50 EURO) or train, which runs direct every 15 minutes and costs less than 15 EURO for 2 people. All our packages include full breakfast every day.

Thirsty Swagman Oktoberfest tour Sept. 22-24 2026. We stayed at the Le Meridien Hotel and accommodations and location were great. We were travelling with a group of six. Kenneth and the Thirsty staff were generally very friendly and welcoming. The first day at the fest when we had lunch in the Lowenbrau tent everything was perfect! Location and seating, service, and food and beer were outstanding. Our second day at the fest we had hoped for the same experience. When we arrived in the Armbrustschutzenzelt tent we were initially directed to the wrong seating area by Thirsty staff. When we were told we had to change tables, there was no place for our group to sit together. In addition to that, the seating was extremely tight. The benches were touching back to back, and there was no way to fit ten people at each table. Thirsty staff was no help, and just kept telling us to do the impossible and fit. Once we finally were seated we were stuffed against people side to side, and back against back. The service was extremely slow (not TS staff's fault). Our waitress, Andrea, took our food order and we watched her write it down. After asking about our food and having her walk away repeatedly over an hour, she denied ever taking our food order. Luckily another waiter stepped in and got our food pretty quickly. By that time some of our friends in our group were fed up, and left. We left early, and as we left the tent we told Thirsty Swagman staff about the problems, and hopefully they don't use that fest tent in the future.Show more

Thank you David for the review, glad you enjoyed the Loewenbrau Festzelt experience and sorry to hear the 2nd evening wasn't what you expected. It was also very hot that day so it was quite uncomfortable in general in the beer tents. The seating unfortunately isn't controlled by us, the beer tents do have a strict policy of having to fill up the tables - if we don't fill them they will bring in random people who are lining up outside and fill them anyway. It is just how the festival works and unfortunately not something we can change. We are considering making just day-time reservation in future though as Oktoberfest is getting so massively crowded now on evenings - so your feedback is much appreciated and noted. I have to say that Kenneth and the team are wonderful from start to finish. The communication upfront and flexibility he offered for a blunder on my part regarding dates was above and beyond. The accommodation at the Le Miridien was amazing. This hotel has a great vibe and wonderful staff, and the breakfast is just what a Thirsty Swagman needs after a day at the Fest. Back in 2022, my siblings and I decided a family trip to Germany (our fathers family is of German heritage) and stumbled upon Thirsty Swagman Tours for Oktoberfest. What a wonderful experience! Kenneth and his staff were amazing to work with, both in preparing for the trip and after we arrived there. With their help and expertise, the event was everything we had hoped for and then some. Le Meridien was a beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the courtyard, the lounge, the dining room and the nicely appointed rooms. Ken's advice for walking to the Sunday parade and getting back on time was spot on. Leading us to the Oktoberfest grounds and to our reserved seating was probably the primary reason for using this company, but as it turned out, it was just icing on the cake. I will let our local travel agency know that they can wholeheartedly recommend Thirsty Swagman to future clients. (I had asked them if they thought this company was legit.)   I am interested in staying a few extra nights we would like to stay from the 15th of September until the 20th or 21st. not sure if additional tents can be added? Yes Hofbrauhaus Had wine one option we were there this year. We were looking to sample a bit more of the tents like the Oxen tent as well supposed to have a great Roast beef dinner.

  We can't arrange extra tent reservations, these are made for our entire groups. Reservations can only be made for entire tables, and days like opening Saturday are not possible to get. I wouldn't recommend going to the festival grounds on opening Saturday, it's just far too crowded - people line up at 5am just to have a chance of getting in. On the Tuesday you will easily be able to get into any tent and find a seat without a reservation if you get there by around 4pm or so.
