How would we return to our original start of the tour?

As this tour concludes in the beautiful city of Zurich, you'll have the freedom to plan your last day as you wish. While there are no scheduled activities after breakfast, you can enjoy the city at your own pace before departing. Please note that transfer services to the airport are not included. This is a one-way itinerary, making it the perfect opportunity for you to explore Zurich or arrange a return journey to the starting point if needed.

Can I get a discount if I join the tour on the third day?

We offer great flexibility, and we're here to help you tailor the experience to your preferences. Could you please share the dates you're interested in? That way, we can assist you better in creating the perfect adventure for you.

What is the exact time and location of both of the arrival and departure cities? Should I arrive a day in advance? If so, we may book a hotel? I only speak English how much of a handicap is this? What's the dress code in Italy? Will there be opportunities to buy Italian clothes? It will be an opportunity to buy a Swiss watch? Will this be required if I'm coming from the United States?

Starting point: The tour begins in Rome, usually at the hotel assigned by Europamundo. The welcome meeting with the guide is normally held at 7:00 PM (local time). Ending point: The tour ends in Zurich, generally in the morning between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, at the group's hotel. It's not required, but it's highly recommended to arrive a day in advance to avoid issues due to flight delays and to rest before starting the tour. If you decide to arrive early, you can book extra nights through Europamundo or independently. Europamundo tours are bilingual (usually English and Spanish). There will always be an English-speaking guide, and you won't have any issues following explanations or instructions. Italy is casual but stylish. Suggestions: Comfortable clothing for walking, closed shoes for cobblestone streets. For churches: shoulders and knees must be covered. You'll find plenty of shopping opportunities in cities like Rome, Florence, and Venice. In Switzerland, especially in Zurich and Lucerne, you'll find stores for watches from brands like Longines, Tissot, Omega, and Rolex.

Our first flight was cancelled and we might not make it. Can you please let us know what our options are?

Currently our regular departures are operating with a minimum of two passengers. We depend on situations outside our control like pandemic conditions, vaccination rates and border policies. We evaluate destinations week by week to make operation decisions.

Which airport in Rome we should arrive at?

The airport has to be CIAMPINO or FIUMICINO. The departure transfer is not included in your booking and comes with an additional charge if you would like to add it. The price per person for the departure transfer is: 138.00 EUR.

Would like to ask if the SWISS PASS is also included in this package which will help us travel all around Switzerland. Also, while visiting in Switzerland, could we visit the RHINE FALLS and the LINDT chocolate museum as they are the most famous attractions of Switzerland.

If we don't have a SWISS PASS, would it be a problem travelling around in Switzerland? Or we travel in a group and the costs of rides or travel in switzerland included in your package only? Also, the transfer from VENICE-INNSBRUCKEN-ZURICH (or in that case every transfer/transit), will this be also done in the BUS itself? Is the cost of cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis included in the package? If the departures for respective tour packages is flexible, so if it does not match your criteria of minimum number of passengers, would we get our refund back and how prior would we get an information if something happens like this?

I am on a 11 day cruise to the Scandivanian countries finishing on 15th May'26. I am looking to travel from 16th May'26 for another 7 days. Does the Classical Italy and Switzerland suit my itenary.

While I enjoyed the destinations, wonderful fellow travelers, and tireless efforts of our host, I wouldn’t use the tour company again in the future. These are the top issues- 1. Hotel locations not visible till after booking, revealing it to be way offsite from main destination star ratings one to three. 2. Company promised airport transfer to hotel. Never happened. how to pay my own taxi both ways. 3. While they provided knowledgeable tour guides, felt the need for more detail details in accuracy in the itinerary. 4. This tour happened over New Year’s Eve, learned in route to the hotel that not only no plans were made, but all local restaurants were sold out for the evening. 5. The tour buses lacked working bathroom facilities and actually discouraged this in the materials. Result is several of us travelers were constantly dehydrated and stressed for lack of good access to basic facilities.Show more

It was pretty good. Our tour guide Raid was wonderful and had excellent energy and knowledgeable of the area along with the guides that hosted the walking tours. I do wished that we had gotten to spend more time on the island area of Venice, it was so beautiful and could spend hours walking the ally ways of the canals. I also would recommend expanding the time in Lucerne Switzerland, there was so many restaurants that we could have had dinner at but instead we had to go back to Zürich so quick and honestly there wasn’t much there in Zürich let along authentic European restaurants to dine at (we luckily found one 15 mins away from the hotel). The hotels were fine although I would recommend a different hotel for Venice maybe one on the island part if possible because the one we stayed at didn’t have much to offer and not many authentic restaurants in walking distance of the hotel. Otherwise the hotels were clean and had towels. My only serious complaint was that there was a family on the tour that was very disrespectful to our tour guide, the hosts, and those of us on the tour. They were very inconsiderate and rude and would make us late to everything every single day of the tour even though the tour guide politely informed them of the need to be on time and even spoke their language in which was not English or any native language to the countries we were in (note: this was suppose to been an English and Spanish tour only) but our guide was kind enough to speak to them in their language since luckily he knew their language so there was no reason for them to acted the way they were or be inconsiderate. That family should have been dismissed from the tour completely and refunded their money because they made the rest of us have a bad time with their rudeness and inconsideration. My advise is that Europmundo should make a policy that if someone is being rude to the tour guide or to others on the tour by doing things inconsiderate or inappropriate they should be kicked out of the tour and refunded whatever is left of their tour. It’s not fair that a family like that had to ruin everyone else’s trip in Europe because of their inappropriate and rude ways!Show more

We particularly enjoyed having the tours of the cities by local tour guides and having optional experiences and free time to ourselves. The only thing is that our tour guide was good at making sure we are on time and shared interesting facts about things, however, he sometimes made condescending negative comments or talked about private matters that happened with other members of the tour. If the departures for respective tour packages is flexible, so if it does not match your criteria of minimum number of passengers, would we get our refund back and how prior would we get an information if something happens like this?

  No, not having a Swiss Pass is not a problem when traveling around Switzerland — but it can make your trip more expensive and slightly less convenient. The tour is in bus. Mount Titlis is not part of the tour. If the optional is cancelled, it will be refunded to your card.

Classical Italy and Switzerland trip for 7 days during the month of May'26. On what date is this particular tour starts. I am on a 11 day cruise to the Scandivanian countries finishing on 15th May'26. I am looking to travel from 16th May'26 for another 7 days. Does the Classical Italy and Switzerland suit my itenary.
