    Budapest

    You'll arrive in Budapest by 2 pm and head straight to the ship for a 5 pm departure. If your flight gets in early, there's time to walk around the Royal Palace grounds and soak up the Christmas atmosphere before boarding. Dinner happens on board as you start cruising toward Vienna.

    Bratislava - Vienna

    You'll spend the day on the water sailing the Danube, watching the landscape shift between Hungary and Slovakia. As you move along the river, you'll see Bratislava's distinctive red rooftops come into view. The boat has Austrian cookies available if you want a snack while you're relaxing on deck. By evening you'll arrive in Vienna, and there's an optional Royal Waltz Concert if you're interested in hearing classical music in an elegant setting.

    We would like to thank our Statesman Attendee that took care of all our needs in our room 107. He was friendly and did an amazing job, Marisio our waiter served us with the highest respect and friendliness. Over all Avalon have very good staff and always a smile- nothing too much trouble. The ship was so clean, food was spectacular. We had a surprise group of singers Gwen and Charles who brought great entertainment. The other entertainer was amazing. Loved the top deck BBQ. We met lots of new friends aboard. Thank you Avalon for a trip well executed.
