I was just trying to complete a booking of the G Adventure Tour Cape town to Victoriafalls on 24th April, when I saw that you have a spot to fill in if i am a G Adventures Customer and that I would get 5 Percent off. How does it work, do you send the 5 % back? Because I would pay everything at once. I also read in your Q&As that once I book, the price is set, but I would like to get the discount as well.

We can see that you qualify for the 25% promotional savings currently available on the 24 April departure of Cape Town to Victoria Falls, which is a fantastic saving. Regarding the 5% evaluation (return traveller) discount, this cannot be combined with an active promotional offer. When a departure is already discounted under a promotion such as the 25% sale, the promotional rate takes precedence and additional discounts are not applicable. You are absolutely correct that once you complete your booking, the price is locked in and will not increase. The promotional discount is applied at the time of booking, so the price you see at checkout already reflects the 25% savings. There would not be a further 5% refunded afterward.

Would like to know if this trip includes a visit to Sossusvlei? If not, is it possible to visit it individually?

On Day 5 the group travels from Fish River Canyon to Namib Desert where you will be in Sossusvlei. On Day 6, you then get to explore and head to the Sesriem Canyon Visit in Sossusvlei where you will stay the night.

What is the single supplement for this trip

The "My Own Room" option for this tour is $479 AUD. If you have booked the "My Own Room" option for this tour, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Day 1, 7, 8, 16

We love this tour but the dates don't work for us. We really want to do Namibia Botswana and the falls! Is there anyway we can join abit later for Namibia? How would that work? We have from around the 8th October - 1st November to join a tour!

You could join the tour in Windhoek and continue to Victoria Falls: Namibia to Victoria Falls Overland Safari & Participation Camping, OCT 17 - 25. Or you could do another tour such as the Cape Town to Victoria Falls adventure: OCT 15 - NOV 1.

Is it possible to pay for an individual tent on this trip?

Yes, you can add a Single Supplement. Please note that if you have booked the Single Room for this tour, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Day 1, 7, 8, 16.

Do we need to bring our own sleeping bag/sleeping mat?

All camping equipment (with the exception of your sleeping bag and pillow) is supplied. We supply dome tents and assembly/disassembly takes only 5 minutes. All tents have built-in insect nets. Mattresses are also available, which are approximately 4cm thick, warm and comfortable.

Do you have the same itinerary or another that includes the San people experiences that has permanent tents or lodge accommodation?

Our Geluxe & National Geographic Journey's will have more upgraded accommodation. Permanent tents and lodges are used on these travel styles.

How do we get 5% discount as past passengers? I can't see the price deduction through booking process.

  These tours don't seem to cover the areas in Namibia we want to see. We would want to do all the top sites in Namibia as that's our priority destination. Are there anymore in depth Namibia tours that miss out the falls and cape? Just Namibia maybe?
