Travelers will meet at the courtyard of the Royal National Hotel in London, followed by a ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. We recommend arriving at the courtyard at least 30 minutes before departure, which is scheduled between 4:45 AM and 6:45 AM.

I noticed some of your trips have different age ranges. The one I'm looking at states age range of 18-35. Does this mean you can only be in that range?

Yes, Contiki trips are designed exclusively for 18 to 35 year olds. The company's goal is to create memorable travel experiences that young people can resonate with, which means most of the facilities and activities would not be appropriate outside of this age bracket. However, if you are a past travel with Contiki, we have a Reunion trip for the 35-45's age.

Is it possible to start the tour in Amsterdam instead of London?

It is possible to begin the trip in Amsterdam instead of London. The cost for this option, based on single-room occupancy, is $3,514.00. Please note that the tour will still conclude in London. If you choose not to continue to London, the rate will remain the same, as this is a fixed package tour.

I would like to inquire on the mode of travel that we will be using to travel throughout europe... This is because it says flights are not included.

The transportation that will be used throughout the tour will be via Motorcoach. International flights are not included in the tour price. Please also be advised that Contiki has an age restriction and can only accommodate travellers aged 18 to 35 years old.

  I have a question regarding our upcoming tour: European Discovery (Summer, Start London, Classic). I noticed that there are many optional activities listed and I was wondering whether we need to organise these ourselves in advance, or if the tour guide will assist in arranging them during the day should we wish to participate.

  It is possible to begin the trip in Amsterdam instead of London. The cost for this option, based on single-room occupancy, is $3,514.00. Please note that the tour will still conclude in London. If you choose not to continue to London, the rate will remain the same, as this is a fixed package tour.

I would like to inquire on the mode of travel that we will be using to travel throughout europe... This is because it says flights are not included.

  The transportation that will be used throughout the tour will be via Motorcoach. International flights are not included in the tour price. Please also be advised that Contiki has an age restriction and can only accommodate travellers aged 18 to 35 years old.

  If two of you are traveling together, you can book a Twin Room to share with your companion throughout the tour. Accommodation will be provided at multiple hotels during the trip. Please also be informed that Contiki tours have an age restriction and are exclusively available to travelers aged 18 to 35 years old.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before October 9th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 9th, 2026, a minimum payment of $200 is required to confirm your booking with Contiki. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Contiki will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Contiki" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
