You'll arrive in Budapest and head straight to your river cruise ship. After getting settled into your stateroom, dinner is served aboard so you can relax and meet fellow travelers.

Budapest
This morning you have options on the Buda side: check out Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church in the Castle District, or hike up to Castle Hill for a more physical morning. After lunch, head to Pest's side to see the Hungarian Parliament Building, walk through Heroes' Square, and find the Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial. By evening, you'll head back to the ship.

Take a walking tour through the city's royal history as the Coronation City of Kings, try a food-focused tour sampling Slovak tastes, or hike up to Bratislava Castle if you want views over the entire city. The ship departs later in the evening.

Vienna
You'll arrive in Vienna, the City of Waltzes, with several ways to explore. See the Opera House and the Habsburg's former Imperial Palace, then either visit St. Stephen's Cathedral or take a bike tour around the city. The afternoon is yours to wander on your own and discover more of Vienna before returning to the ship.

Grein
Docked at Weissenkirchen, your morning options include a walking tour of Dürnstein and the UNESCO-listed Melk Abbey, a wine and food experience with local apricots, or hiking to the fortress where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. If you prefer cycling, take the guided bike tour to Melk instead. Later, you'll sail through scenic valleys toward medieval Grein and tour the 500-year-old Greinburg Castle before evening.
