We are pretty fit. We walk ride bikes and kayak. We are wondering about how you handle walking when the day is very hot ie above 32 degrees celsius?

    • Autopia ToursOperatorWritten January 2026

Your group sounds perfectly suited for our tour, it's great to hear you enjoy walking, cycling, and kayaking!

We definitely take warmer temperatures into consideration.

Our tours are timed to avoid the hottest parts of the day, and we recommend bringing appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and hats.

You are always welcome to speak to your guide about what you feel comfortable doing.

You will only ever need to take part in activities that you are happy with, so the day can be enjoyed at your own pace.

    Alice

    Asked on June 19th, 2024

Do we get to chose whether we sleep in a permanent tent or a swag? Is it warm enough to sleep in a swag at that time of the year? Also, is it safe regarding all the dangerous and poisonous animals? Do you have first aid equipment on the tours? Are there satellit telefons or anything comparable with us on the tour for emergencies?

    • Autopia ToursOperatorWritten June 2024

You have to choose at the time of booking as there is a slight price difference between a swag and a safari tent. We rent out sleeping bags for $40 that are quite warm so sleeping in a swag is fine and definitely safe - Safety is our main priority so if it wasn't a safe option we would not offer it! We do have first aid equipment and all of our guides are First Aid trained. We do have a satellite phone for emergencies only.

    Asked on May 5th, 2024

Do I need to bring or rent a sleeping bag?

    Tour Details
    • Autopia ToursOperatorWritten May 2024

You can bring your own or you can rent one from us for $40pp AUD.
