Yes, we can absolutely organize a private Everest Base Camp Trek exclusively for the three of you.
We assign experienced, licensed trekking guides who are familiar with the Everest region, altitude-related concerns, and emergency procedures. The guide assigned to your group will have the required Nepal government trekking guide license and relevant first-aid/altitude safety training.
Your guide will be an experienced Everest-region trekking guide and will have completed the EBC route multiple times.
Safety is our first priority. If anyone develops symptoms of altitude sickness, the guide will assess the situation and monitor the person's condition. Depending on the severity, we may stop ascending, allow additional acclimatization/rest, descend to a lower altitude, and seek medical assistance if necessary. If the condition is serious, emergency evacuation can be arranged. We never recommend continuing to a higher altitude if the guide believes it is unsafe.
Helicopter evacuation is generally not included in the trekking package. We strongly recommend that all trekkers have travel insurance that specifically covers trekking above 5,000 metres, emergency medical treatment, search and rescue, and helicopter evacuation. If an emergency evacuation is required, we can assist with coordinating the helicopter and local arrangements, while the costs are handled according to your insurance policy.
For three trekkers, we normally recommend 2 porters, depending on the amount of luggage you bring. Each porter generally carries around 20–25 kg, while we recommend that you carry only your daypack with essential personal items during the trek.
Accommodation during the trek will be in comfortable local teahouses/lodges. Rooms are generally twin-sharing and normally have two beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets. Facilities become more basic as we gain altitude. Bathrooms may be shared, particularly at higher elevations.
Yes, Kala Patthar is included in our EBC itinerary. It is one of the highlights of the trek, offering spectacular views of Mount Everest and the surrounding Himalayan peaks. We will allow enough time for this rather than rushing the ascent and descent.
