    Asked on February 24th, 2026

Why is one trip about $3000 and the next trip is about $4000. I'm not seeing much difference. Can you explain the benefits of the $4000 trip?

    Price / Availability
    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2026

Regarding the price difference, we can clarify that tours departing in April are indeed cheaper than those departing from May onward, as May marks the start of the high season and prices are slightly higher.

    Veronica

    Asked on June 17th, 2024

Do you have any dates for 2025 end of May/ June please?

      TravelerWritten June 2024

My husband and my self will be flying into Vancouver 29thMay 2025 from Australia. We have a week until we leave Vancouver for Alaska, in that week we would like to see the Rocky Mountains. Around a 5 day trip would be great. What tours would you recommend? We are a couple in our 60s and early 70s so not a hostel or hiking tour please.

    • TourlandOperatorWritten June 2024

You will take the deluxe Rocky Mountaineer TRAIN from Vancouver to Rocky Mountain, then you will be visiting Rocky Mountain, which include Jasper, Lake Louise, YOHO national park, and Banff. The tour will ends in Calgary.

    Asked on February 10th, 2024

Is there a pick up from downtown Vancouver hotel on June 7 morning? Can there be a drop off at Calgary airport on June 11 after the tour ends? For lunches not provided, can we order on train (silver package)? Options for dinners (hotel, train, etc.). Cost of Snocoach and Skywalk. Can I select seats on train in advance? Luggages will be transferred to hotels and no need to carry them yourself? Luggage limit (weight and size)?

    Transport
    • TourlandOperatorWritten February 2024

Yes, there is a pick-up service available from downtown Vancouver hotels on June 7th morning. Drop-offs at Calgary airport on June 11th after the tour concludes can typically be arranged. Breakfast and Lunch are included. Dinner options may vary depending on the itinerary. Rocky Mountaineer do not have the seat select service. Luggage transfer services are generally provided, so there's no need for passengers to carry their luggage themselves during the train tour. Passengers are generally advised to adhere to standard airline luggage restrictions.
