Itinerary
- Day 1
Nungwi to Chumbe Island
You'll start with a scenic boat ride heading out from Nungwi to reach Chumbe Island Coral Park, a private marine reserve. Once there, the morning is yours for swimming in clear water and snorkeling around the coral reefs where you'll see colorful fish, corals, turtles, and reef sharks. Around midday you'll have a Swahili lunch right on the island. After eating, take a walk through the trails and relax in the quieter parts of the island before boarding the boat back to Nungwi later in the afternoon.
