Regarding the accommodation arrangements, you will be staying in one triple room, and it will be prepared with three separate beds (twin beds + an additional bed). No one will have to share a bed at any point during the entire tour — this setup applies to all hotels and the Nile cruise.

My mom and I are planning a trip to Egypt, and we were wondering if it would be possible to book a hotel that's quite close to the pyramids. When browsing hotels we noticed that some seem to offer views of the pyramids from their restaurant or terrace — is that really feasible? If yes, could you let us know which hotel(s) in your offer have this kind of view (or could easily arrange a room/restaurant view)?

Yes, it is absolutely possible to stay in a hotel close to the Pyramids and even enjoy a beautiful pyramid view from the terrace or restaurant — it's a wonderful experience, especially at sunset. We actually work with multiple hotels near the Pyramids, and two of our preferred options are King Pyramids View and Locanda Museum Hotel. Both offer excellent standards, great service, and beautiful views, and they are the hotels we regularly use for our tours. We can definitely arrange a room or dining experience that matches your preferences.

Please can you advise the cost of all the entrance fees. The price Excludes these and we need to know how much to budget for this. Is the cost of Abu Simbel and the Hot air Balloon definitely included in this?

The total entrance fees for all the included sites throughout the itinerary come to approximately 200 USD per person, so you can budget around that amount. And yes — both Abu Simbel and the Hot Air Balloon ride are definitely included in your tour package with no additional cost.

When do you collect $170 entrance fees? Each time, each day or full amount in advance? Do you accept US dollars only? Do guides/drivers prefer tips in US dollars or Egyptian pound?

We do not collect the $170 entrance fees from you. You will simply pay the entrance fees at each site directly, and you can pay by card at all the major sites. For tipping, it is preferred to tip in US dollars, but Egyptian Pounds are also acceptable if that is easier for you.

For your tour package, you will definitely be staying at Sonesta Hotel Tower & Casino Cairo. This will be your confirmed hotel for the Cairo portion of your trip.

Would we be picked up from the airport at that time and then check in at the hotel early in the morning?

Yes—our team will be at the airport to pick you up at 3:40 AM on 2 February 2026 and transfer you to the hotel. Please note that standard hotel check-in is around 2:00 PM.
