Departure
Your Botswana adventure starts this evening with your departure from Germany, heading toward your safari experience ahead.
- Day 2
Maun to Deception Valley Reserve
You'll land in Maun where your guide picks you up for the drive to Deception Valley Reserve, about 4 hours covering 120 km. The tented camp sits on a dune overlooking the Kalahari, and after settling in, your guide explains what to expect and where wildlife congregates around waterholes.

- Day 3
Deception Valley Reserve Game Drives and San Bushman Experience
Start with game drives searching for oryx, springbok, eland, lion, brown hyena and cheetah. Mid-morning you'll join a San guide for a Bushman Walk to learn about the region and San culture. After lunch and rest, more game drives fill the afternoon before returning to camp for the night.

- Day 4
Deception Valley to Makgadikgadi Pans
An early sunrise game drive gets the morning started before you head toward Makgadikgadi Pans, traveling 4 to 5 hours and 120 km. You'll reach your lodge in Khumaga village with views of the Boteti River. The late afternoon is yours to relax by the pool or take in the riverside scenery.

Makgadikgadi Pans to Khwai Conservation Area
The drive to Khwai Conservation Area takes about 6 hours covering 340 km west through Maun. You'll spot wildlife along the way as you travel toward the Khwai River bordering Moremi Reserve. This region is popular for game viewing, and you'll settle into your guest house to prepare for the days ahead.

- Days 6 - 7
Khwai Conservation Area and Okavango Delta
Early sunrise game drives and late afternoon drives let you search for waterbuck, lechwe, zebra, buffalo, elephant, lion and wild dog. You'll also take a traditional mokoro canoe trip on the Khwai River with your guide, and experience game drives in Moremi where water and land connect. Two nights at the guest house.

- Day 8
Khwai to Chobe National Park
This is a full off-road adventure through Savuti and the famous Sand Ridge Road heading northeast to Chobe National Park. The 10-hour journey covers about 200 km including game drives, crossing open grasslands where lion prides roam alongside zebra and wildebeest herds, then reaching the fertile Chobe River floodplain. Your rustic lodge sits on a hill with views across the Chobe Plain.

- Day 9
Chobe National Park
You'll explore Chobe National Park, one of southern Africa's most wildlife-rich areas. The Chobe River's year-round waters support large elephant, zebra and buffalo herds. Game drives and a boat trip give you chances to see elephants, zebras, hippos, kudus, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs and the rare puku antelope found only on these plains.

- Day 10
Chobe to Victoria Falls
Cross into Zimbabwe and drive 3 to 4 hours covering 160 km to Victoria Falls. You'll check into your lodge for 2 nights. The afternoon is free to relax, walk to the waterfalls themselves, shop for souvenirs or plan activities with the lodge reception team.

Victoria Falls Activities
Your day here is flexible. The lodge can arrange white-water rafting through Zambezi Gorge, a peaceful canoe trip on the upper Zambezi River, or helicopter flights over the falls if you're interested (optional activities, pricing on request). Otherwise, simply unwind at the lodge.

Victoria Falls to Airport
After breakfast around 10 am, a transfer takes you to the airport for your return flight to Germany, wrapping up your safari adventure.
