- Day 1
Budapest
You'll arrive in Budapest and have the day to yourself to explore at your own pace. The thermal baths are a popular choice if you want to relax, or you could take a Danube River cruise for views of the city. Gellért Hill offers a good hike with panoramic views across Budapest, and the ruin bars in the Jewish Quarter are worth checking out if you're interested in the local nightlife scene. Later this evening, you'll meet up with your tour group for a welcome dinner at the hotel.

- Day 2
Budapest to Hollóko to Eger
You'll head to Hollóko, a UNESCO World Heritage village, where a local guide takes you through traditional folk culture. Expect to see blacksmithing demonstrations and learn a folk dance, then sit down for a hearty lunch featuring Palóc soup and apple strudel. After that, you're off to Eger where the afternoon is yours to wander the cobblestone streets, check out Dobó István Square, see the Minorite Church, and walk through Eger Castle if you're interested.

Eger to Tokaj to Košice to High Tatras
This morning takes you to the Tokaj wine region where you'll taste five white wines at a family winery, including the well-known Tokaji Aszú dessert wine. From there, you'll cross into Slovakia and have lunch in Košice with an orientation tour of the city. Later, you'll head toward the High Tatras mountains. Watch for the ruins of Spišský Castle along the way. You'll arrive at your mountain accommodation by evening.

High Tatras to Wieliczka to Kraków
This morning you'll descend 135 meters into the Wieliczka Salt Mine to see chandelier-lit chambers, ornate chapels, and salt sculptures that have been carved over centuries. Once you're back above ground, you'll travel to Kraków, Poland's former capital. The afternoon is free, so you can walk through Wawel Castle, check out the Jewish Quarter, or explore the cellar bars. You'll settle into your Old Town hotel for the night.

Kraków

There you can explore the Old Town's six Baroque fountains, see the Town Hall's Astronomical Clock, and visit Saint Wenceslas Cathedral. The evening is free to find a restaurant for dinner.

After that, you're heading to Prague, your final destination, where you can explore the 'City of a Hundred Spires' and walk Charles Bridge.
