Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo airport and get transferred to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is open for you to adjust to the time zone and get comfortable at your own pace.

Cairo
This morning you'll head out on a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum to see King Tutankhamun's artifacts and ancient mummies. From there, you'll visit the Royal Mummies' Room at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. By afternoon you're back at the hotel with time to relax by the pool or wander around on your own.

Cairo to Aswan
You'll travel to the Giza Plateau to walk through the Great Pyramids and see the Sphinx. There's an option to go inside one of the pyramids if you want. In the afternoon, you can either spend time by the pool or explore Cairo before heading to the train station for the overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

Aswan
After arriving in Aswan, you'll board a boat to Agilika Island and check out Philae Temple. Next, there's a stop at a perfume oil shop, then the rest of the day is free for you to relax by the hotel pool or explore. Later in the evening you can walk through the Aswan market to see the local herbs and spices.

- Day 5
Aswan
You'll start your day on a traditional felucca sailing to Elephantine Island for a guided walk through archaeological sites. Lunch happens onboard the boat. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like, and there's an option to visit the Nubian Museum if you're interested in seeing over 3,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt.

Aswan to Luxor
This morning a motorboat takes you across the Nile to the west bank for a camel ride through the desert to the 7th-century Monastery of St. Simeon. After exploring there, you'll travel to Luxor with a stop at Kom Ombo Temple, which has a unique design with two identical halves honoring the falcon god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek.

Luxor
You'll spend today exploring Luxor's West Bank, starting with the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. Later you'll visit Karnak Temple and walk through the Hypostyle Hall and Avenue of Sphinxes. Back at the hotel you have free time, and there's an optional evening tour of the lit-up Luxor Temple if you want to go out again.
