Are dome tents and basic accomodation en suite?

For our Overland Accommdated tours. These run alongside our camping trips, visiting the same sights and staying at the same places - the only difference is that you will stay in simple accommodation rather than camping. Accommodation in both Southern and East Africa varies from place to place, dependent on the infrastructure and settlement in different areas. Some destinations visited have high quality accommodation options complete with fluffy duvets and en-suite bathrooms where at other places it may be more basic with shared facilities.

With a great, fellow bunch of Aussies we enjoyed a fabulous tour from Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) via Botswana to finish at Pretoria, South Africa. Our driver/guide Aaron kept us on track to meet our tour commitments. He was approachable and nothing was too much work. The tour itself flew past quickly and the stops were interesting and well spaced. The second last day was quite long but with a break at the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, it passed quickly. The truck was comfortable and met our needs. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to experience the different types of safari styles.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before December 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after December 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with On The Go Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
