Itinerary
- Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start with breakfast in Arusha, then drive about two hours to Tarangire National Park. As you head out, the landscape shifts from city streets to open plains and Masai villages. Once you arrive at the park entrance, watch for monkeys and the massive Baobab tree. You'll spend the middle part of your day driving through the park, looking for wildlife along the Tarangire River, and during dry season you might see thousands of migrating animals moving through. Stop for a picnic lunch by the river, taking in the scenery and the sounds of the savanna. After lunch, head back to Arusha in the late afternoon, arriving before evening.
