Would like to redo Toubkal weekend trip with an extra acclimatization day at the refuge

We offer several departures for this tour in Both June and July 2026, the tour will have a maximum of 12 travellers. The itinerary is usually followed as it is, unless there are circumstances that are beyond our control which can lead to itinerary amendments.

how many miles do we hike each day ? how many miles is it to the summit of mt Toubkal how many hours do you predict it will take to reach the summit ? is it cold at night sleeping in the tent ?

Here is a breakdown of the amount of hiking and miles each day. day 2- 6 hour about hike 12 miles. day 3- 7 hour about hike 14 miles. Day 4- 5 hour hike about 10 miles (Mt Toubkal basecamp). Day 5- 7 hour hike about 14 miles (Mt Toubkal Summit). Day 6- 4-5 hour descent about about 7 miles. The weather in September is usually at around 15-10 degrees Celsius. The temperature will drop anywhere from 5 to -5 degrees Celsius at night, so you should make sure to bring warm layers with you.

If I chose the "My Own Room" option for this tour, does this mean I get my own tent on days 4 and 5, or do I still have to share with someone else?

Please note that if you have booked the "My Own Room" option for this tour, you will receive your own single accommodation for all night stops, with the following exceptions: Nights 2 and 3: local mountain gites. Please note on nights 4 and 5 MORs are available, but on occasion, due to the weather, the group may spend the night inside the auberge, when this happens no MORs are available inside the auberge.

How are room arrangements handled for solo travelers?

Solo travelers are usually placed in multi-share accommodations unless a single supplement is requested for private rooms.

How challenging is the trip and what type of luggage is appropriate?

The trip has a high physical rating, demanding significant walking and elevation gain. A soft duffle bag or frameless backpack is required for the mules to carry.

Is laundry service available at the hotel?

Yes, the hotel provides laundry services which you can use.

We do not offer customized tours. G Adventures does offer private tours for your group however the tour program must be the same as per the existing pre-packaged tours

Is it possible to join for a solo traveler or do we need to be at least 2-3... people? Because I will travel alone. Is the trip very challenging or more intermediate? Is luggage transportation included or do we need to carry our own luggage all the way?

We are happy to accept solo travellers on our tours. For this particular tour, there are some nights of multi-share accommodation. There is no additional costs for solo travellers, unless you would prefer a single supplement (private room). This trip is a 4/5, which we classify as "demanding" due to the distance walked and elevation gained. Our trekking mules will carry your larger bags as well as tents and equipment. Luggage is limited to 12kg per person for the trek, and bags must be soft duffle bags or frameless backpacks. You will carry only your daypack when trekking - for water, camera, jacket, sunscreen, etc.

How can I add or confirm additional services to my booking?

You can request additional services such as transfers and extra nights which, once requested, will be confirmed subject to availability.

Is there a recommended packing list for the tour?

A packing list is available which includes items such as a sleeping bag, lightweight sleeping sheet, and personal items like a flashlight.

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
