Do we need to pay the full amount or a deposit once we choose the tour to secure a place?

You will pay a deposit then FULL PAYMENT (The balance of payment) is due 45 days prior to departure, immediately if booked within the 45 days of departure. If final payment is not paid by the required time, Getaways For Tourism has the right to cancel the booking and retain the non-refundable deposit.

Can we be picked up and transferred to the Cairo Hotel? Is the 28th January a day dedicated to people arriving and gathering at the Hotel prior to the tour beginning the following morning?

Your accommodation starts on Jan 28, 2026 at 13:00 and ends on Feb 3, 2026 at 10:00 am. The package includes one free transfer on the first day of the tour from Cairo international airport to our hotel and one free transfer from our hotel to Cairo international airport on the last day of the tour. Any other transfer (Pick up/drop off) will cost you 35 USD. The first day of the tour is just an arrival day there is nothing to do in.

Can you please advise what the luggage limit is for the bus and cruise portions for the Cairo and Nile cruise.

Every traveler is allowed to carry two bags, one small (7 kg) and one big bag (23 kg) in the domestic flights.

We are a group interested in your 7 day cruise. Our dates don't line up however with your dates. We will land in Cairo on the 27th of march and will depart on April 4th. We would like to do the tour from the 28th of march to April 3rd. Is that possible?

I chose to book my Nile tour with Gateway Egypt specifically because they had better reviews and a higher overall rating than Nourbelle Tours. I was fully aware that I was paying a higher price, but I did so willingly, expecting a superior and more premium experience. Unfortunately, the organization was lacking from the start. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay $165 for museum entrance fees, even though their brochure clearly stated $125. They explained that the price had increased since the opening of the GEM (Grand Egyptian Museum), but after pointing out the error in their documentation, they eventually agreed to honor the $125 price. While the sights and the overall experience were beautiful, travelers need to be very careful. After the tour ended, we realized that the service wasn't actually provided by Gateway Egypt, but was outsourced to the other company (Nourbelle). They did refund us a small price difference for the two of us, but that doesn't change the fact that the experience wasn't what we expected or paid for. The only true highlight was our guide from Nourbelle Tours, who was absolutely excellent and professional. However, I cannot recommend Gateway Egypt if you are looking for the specific quality and organization they claim to offer over cheaper alternatives.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
