You'll arrive in Mainz early in the morning and have time to walk around this historic city before your noon ship departure. Mainz has over 2,000 years of history, so there's plenty to see in those few hours. After you board the A-ROSA ship at noon, you'll start cruising along the Rhine River, passing through the Loreley Valley and spotting charming towns along the banks. By evening, you'll pull into Koblenz and see the famous Deutsches Eck headland as the ship enters port.

The departure time is 14:00, so it's a shorter day in port but you can still cover a decent amount of ground.

That evening, you'll get your first look at this modern 'Manhattan on the Maas' with its architect-designed houses and its role as Europe's largest maritime port.
