We have 7 people signed up for the 1st of February, 3 are solo travellers. 60% is in their 60's and 40% is in their 50's. We have British, German and Canadian travellers.

Are the entrance fees paid directly when guided by the tour guide and are transfers from the airport to the hotel and back included?

Could you please advise which entrances the traveller is referring to? The transfers (arrival and departure) are not included it must be pre-booked at an additional cost.

How is or how will the flooding currently in Sri Lanka effecting this tour?

The flooding is a fast changing situation in Sri Lanka, currently we only have on tour changes and updates for tours running until this point in early December. There are no changes to all tours in January onwards.

Can you arrange a private group tour for 5 adults from 20-26 December, we can stretch for a day more too.

Sorry we only offer private tours for groups of 8 or more travellers.

How do I ensure my tour booking is secured at a discounted price?

What if I cannot be back in time for the tour meeting?

If you are not back in time, your tour guide will leave any important information at the reception desk.

What type of transport will be used for this trip with a group of 15 people? Will there be window seats for photography?

The private van will be a minibus designed to fit the whole group, you will likely be sat next to another traveller if the group is full.

Can I update the seating on the train ride?

Sri Lankan people are so wonderfully friendly and happy. We saw the Kapil brothers' gardens and an orphanage which had previously been owned by a Scottish couple who had no children. See the tsunami site where there is a monument for those who lost their lives. Different culture but they like everyone. Elephant safari is more about the driving experience of the young males in their mud antics. Wonderful food to experience too.Show more

I went in late February to early March. I loved the organization and the planning of the tour. We saw so much in so little time in different settings from villages, temples, beaches and watching local artisans. Udi was a great tour guide, always available and the life of the party. He is very approachable when asking for advice on where to go, how much to tip and how to get there. I personally wished there was more time spent in columbo and near galle fort. The only thing I would change is for the tour to end in a location close to the airport as the last location mirissa is about a 2.5 to 3 hour cab ride to the main airport in columbo.Show more

I really enjoyed the tour which was a good balance of culture, beach time and wildlife. Just a couple of things that were not so great- the ‘scenic’ train to Ella was an awful experience- we were crammed into carriages where we could not move/sit/see out the window. One of the people on our tour fainted as it was so hot and given the covid situation it was not great at all. We all agreed afterwards that we would have preferred to pay first class- at least this way if the train is busy you can get a seat and if not you can chose to go 2nd or 3rd class. Also having reread the itinerary I’ve realised that we weren’t given the option to go to Polonnaruwa which on reflection I would have liked to do. Other than that I would recommend the tour.Show more

  6 February: 3 travellers confirmed, with an additional 12 travellers joining as part of a combo trip. Current ages range from approximately the 40s to 70s. The travellers booked so far are Canadian and British.
