Some campgrounds may have showers, but facilities vary; be prepared for basic conditions.

What if I want to visit the Grand Canyon?

This tour does not include the Grand Canyon. You would need to make separate arrangements to visit it.

How does the camping arrangement work?

Participatory camping means you will help set up the tents and sleep in cozy sleeping bags. All camping equipment is supplied except for your sleeping bag and pillow.

What kind of accommodation is provided during the tour?

Accommodation will be varied throughout your adventure, including public and private campgrounds, permanent canvas tents, twin-share rooms in hostels, and simple motels.

Can this trip accommodate travelers over 39 years old?

This particular tour is restricted to travelers between 18-39 years old at the time of travel.

What are the options for larger luggage storage during the tour?

You should ensure your bags are manageable as secure baggage storage is limited, especially if bringing large suitcases.

Is there a specific time for flights to arrive?

Flights must arrive by or before 05:00 on Day 1, and you will need to make your own way to the start hotel.

Do you need a sleeping bag for the camping accommodation?

Proper sleeping bags are necessary for this tour. Evening temperatures can reach -9°C - 0°C. Please ensure that your sleeping bag is rated to (-17°C for spring and fall trips and 0°C for trips June - Sept). If you prefer, you can purchase a proper sleeping bag on the first day of the trip. Prices range from $60-$150USD.
